Thanks to those who have already provided feedback on my villa thread.

Now the questions is... should be get a villa or 2 adjoining rooms?

There are the 4 of us traveling, and then our in-laws.

We want to go for 10 days, and would love to stay at the Poly. But perhaps my in-laws won't want to stay as long, so maybe a villa will work better?

Poly is our first pick.
BoardWalk or Beach Club villa for our second pick.
Third, outside the park in a 5 bedroom home (Windsor Hills).

Would you be getting a one or 2 bedroom villa?

With a one bedroom, you would have a kitchen, washer/dryer and a living room (although someone would have to sleep on the couch and you would have only one bathroom). With a 2 bedroom, you would get all that plus another bathroom and bedroom. In a 2 bedroom, the living room becomes a nice place to relax and watch TV without sitting on a bed.

If you get 2 regular rooms, you will have 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, but I'd personally miss the living room. The location of the 2 rooms is a request, so there is no guarantee they would even be close to each other and also, you want to ask for "Connecting", not adjoining - adjoining only means they are next to each other.

Hi!

With a 10 day stay, it might be nice to have your own kitchen in case you want to eat in or have a full fridge for anything you may want. Plus you will have a washer and dryer in the villa, which is sweet... I sooo would not want to waste any vaca time in a resort laundromat!

If you can swing the 2 bedroom villa you would have a lot of room... like SueM stated, 2 bathrooms and a living room... plus I believe the master bath in the beach club has a whirlpool tub in the 2 bedroom villa, which is realllllyyy nice!

I would always opt for a 2 bedroom villa over 2 rooms just because of all of the extra comforts that come along with it. Even if you do not spend much time in your room usually, it still makes a difference IMO...

An offsite home is not a bad choice either, especially if it fills your needs.

I hope that I helped. :goodvibes

Yes, we would be looking at either a 2 bedroom villa... or 2 connecting rooms.

Thanks for your input. ;)

Unless something has changed recently, 2 connecting rooms is only a request, just like location. (not sure if I made that clear before).

A two bedroom villa is wonderful compared to 2 rooms. You have a full kitchen, wash machine and dryer, full patio private, dishwasher, full fridge with freezer and ice maker! The second bathroom has a private dressing area separate from the toilet and shower area. The master bathroom has a jetted tub and sink area private from the full bathroom with two sinks, shower and toilet.

IMO, the villa would be perfect.
