2 Rooms or Portofino Suite

WWYD? 2 Garden view rooms PBH or a Portofino Suite. Traveling with DH, and children 10 down to infant. It would be with APH rate so I'd save a little with 2 rooms. Any suggestions?

Go for two rooms if they are less expensive and if they will guarantee adjoining rooms (which they usually do). The parlor part of the suite is the same size as a hotel room. Bathroom is basically the same. If anyone is sleeping in the parlor, you would have to make up the sofa bed every night. Also, I've stayed in at least 3 different Portofino suites and all of the sofa beds are so uncomfortable!!! I can't think of anything the suite offers that may be of benefit to your family for the extra cost other than extra space for kids to be kids when the sofa bed is not in use.

Just ask them which one is the better price.

I was going to switch to 2 Bay view rooms (same price), but they could only guarantee the connecting rooms if I did Garden view. So I did it! Save $300 dollars, and we will have 4 queen beds, which DS10 is VERY excited since he may be able to sleep alone I feel like I made a good decision

I think you made a great choice! There is lots you can do with the $300 that would be of more value.
