I apologize if this has been answered before, I just don't have time to scan all the posts. We are a family of 6 (all over age 10) so we need 2 rooms. If one room was in my dh's name and the other in mine and we told them which children are in what room would we still all have to do the dining plan? It would be fine for some of us but way too much food for others of us to be any savings. Please don't flame me. I'm not trying to cheat WDW, I just truly don't know how the policy works when there are 2 rooms. TIA!

I think this is absolutely fine unless you're booking both rooms as part of one package. However, if you plan to have you and DH on the DDP, then you'd need everyone on the plan, since there must be an adult listed on each room. Hope that makes sense.

Thats a great Q. I too have two rooms booked for next week for my family is too big for one. I never thought about that and have been wondering about sharing meals. My rooms are booked just like yours, my hubby in one with 2 kids and me in another with 2 kids. Although, it was booked all at once and is under one ressie nnumber, we were able to get two Planet hollywood meals and merch. vouchers, almost as if it were reserved seprately. Either way I had no idea about this perk (P hollywood free stuff). I think however, I am hooked on this meal plan for life! I went last year during the free and now this year, and can't imagine NOT having it now even @ 38 per person. Thing is, my oldest kids an even myself, couldn't eat an app., entree and dessert! It certainly is a great plan but too much (food) for the future, if I do end up paying for it, I may just book two ressies and hopefully be able to share.
