2 reservations same # on dvc member site

I had a wait list come through for one night at the beginning of my vacation (same resort), I received an updated iternary showing only one reservation for the whole time but when I went to dvc member site today to do the online check in it shows them as two separtate reservations each requiring a check in however they have the same reservation number. Has anyone seen this before? I don't want to have to check in twice (or change rooms). Thanks.

The confusion and miss information is due to the recent software changes. Eventually we will be given one confirmation number per stay, no matter how many resorts you are staying at.

So if I want to do online check in should I just do it on the one that is for the first day?

I, too, have an upcoming DVC stay which appears as 2 separate segments, but with the same #s. I called MS and was told to just check in online for the beginning of the stay, and that's all. The reservations are linked, even though I have the same room, but it's the way "they" do things.
