I have 2 questions regarding attractions:

What's the feedback on Lights, Motor, Action Show at MGM?

Has another show replaced Tarzan Rocks at AK?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

We just got back from our first ever trip, DH, DS7, DD10 and I all loved the Lights, Action, Motor stunt show at MGM. It's very cool.

And we didn't go to Tarzan Rocks, but did see it listed on the map, so it must still be there. Personally I wanted to go, but mostly cause I've heard how hot Tarzan is. :rolleyes1 Neither of my kids were interested tho. (Darn)

Del - we saw Lights, Motor this summer and really enjoyed it. It's really neat to see how they do some of the stunts.

For Tarzan Rocks - I got my Mickey Monitor this week, and I swear it said that Tarzan isn't closing until February 2006. I thought it was supposed to close in Sept. Maybe somebody else here can verify? And last I heard was that a show based on The Jungle Book was supposed to replace Tarzan Rocks. We really enjoy Tarzan - I'm going to miss it!

They are two separate shows. Both are great and have not been replaced.

Just got back this morning and we saw both shows. I wouldn't miss Liglts, Camera, it was great. Tarzan was lively and our DS8 enjoyed it enough but it would not rank at the top of our MUST SEE list. (Clue: anywhere on the first row of seats in the second level, lots of action happens there.)

I can comment about Lights Motors Action.

I am not a car fan at all. Im not a stunt fan at all, Im really just not into that sort of thing. Neither is my dad.

however, we went (I went before it was officially open as well), and I have to be honest, I was shocked at how amazing it is.

While some like to see how stunts are done (which I dont care about, even though it was very cool to see how the whole "Knight Rider" car was driven with no driver), I was extremely impressed by the talent of the drivers.

These guys go full speed in a choreographed sequence to blow your mind. they come within inches of one another, to the point where you even sort of squinch up a little, but sure enough, they come out clean.

It truly is amazing and you'd be mistaken to miss it.

My wife can not stand Lights Camera Action but I think it is OK. She always moans that its boring and the metal seats are very uncomfortable.
I must admit in the hot months, the heat in the seating area is quite unbearable!! I enjoy it though!

Tarzan can take or leave it !!!

Have fun!!

Well I agree about the heat. Please note that in the heat, this is a hard attraction to sit through. So many people around you (stadium seating) that the heat just builds (even though it's outdoors) and the hot concrete and seats do make it even hotter. I remember in July just dripping like a water hose.

However, if you can go during a cooler time, this show is just amazing. You can go early, sit back, relax and just enjoy the time being at Disney.

THE STUNT SHOW WAS PRETTY COOL
MY DH & DS8 LOVED IT

WE THOUGHT TARZAN ROCKS WAS JUST OK
WOULD NOT GO OUT OF OUR WAY TO DO IT AGAIN
TARZAN IS OK TO LOOK AT - EVEN THOUGH HE IS NOT PART OF THE SHOW BUT FOR A FEW MINUTES
THE ONLY NEAT PART WAS THE SKATERS - THE SINGING WAS LAME!

LMA was ok in my book. DS12 and dh thought it was good but wouldn't see it again. Tarzan Rocks...glad the next time we go it won't be there. I didn't like it the first time, although, it grew on me.

Thanks everyone. We'll be sure to do the Stunt Show then at MGM in the am when it's cooler. We've been to Tarzan before and enjoyed it but I don't feel the need to go again....I was hoping something new had gone in that spot.
