I am in the middle of planning our Christmas Vacation at Disney and thought Cirque would be a wonderful idea. I have heard so so many rave reviews on it and when I started thinking I have never heard one person say anything bad about this show. So lets hear it, was it terrific???

We are also still in the middle of trying to decide between Wilderness Lodge and Coronado......of course assuming that, like in the past, AP rates will come out for December and we will be able to get WL for around $150 per night....our dates are December 12-21....does anyone have any experience with WL rates for this time???? If I can't get a good rate there I think we are going with Coronado.

We love Cirque! It was an amazing show and the music was awsome. Go!

Yep, Cirque is great. I have seen it twice at WDW, would see it again. Have seen 3 times in LV, would see it again. Nothing like it, anywhere.

Cirque was a great show...well worth the price of the ticket. It kept you interested the whole time. You need to get there early like they suggest because the opening of the show has some of the performers walking through the seating areas, and if you are late they make you wait to be seated.

If you are really stretching to find any little thing I could possibly complain about the show...
I started thinking I have never heard one person say anything bad about this show.
then all I could possibly come up with is that sometimes there is soooo much going on on the stage at one time that you can't look at everything!!!!! But that is still very cool. Also if hard pressed to complain, the seating in the theater is kinda cramped.

Cirque is the "Best" show on WDW property.

Yes!! Cirque is fantastic!! I would definately love to see it again! Absolutely amazing!

However, call the box office, Beauty...something is sticking in my mind about there being blackout dates in December, where the show closes for an extensive period of time :o I'm not exactly sure, so best to make sure before you get your heart set on it

From Cirque's website:
La Nouba will not perform on the following dates in 2003:

February 2 to 5
March 23 to 25
May 11 to 25
July 13 to 16
September 7 to 9
October 26 to 29
December 7 to 15
It's an awesome show. I've seen it twice. Have also seen Alegria, O & Dralion. Leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow and would love to see Mystere but they're dark the only 2 nights we have available so guess I'll have to save it for "next time".

Our woodsview WL rate for Dec 2001 was $119. I "think" it was even down to $109 this past year. BUT that was a FL resident rate. I know the other rates(AP, codes) were not much higher. They should offer something this year. We like Woodsview because they are very quiet rooms. The standard views can be loud(some over service areas) as can the courtyard(people at the pool). Ask to be on the MK side over Otter pond if you opt for woodsview!:D
Can't help with Cirque. May go this year during our visit:cool: ! Have fun. That Dec. visit was my most favorite time to go. LOW crowds and gorgeous decorations. Took our Christmas card pic of the kids at MK while on the way to our 8:05ps, with no one in the background, only the castle. :D

My trip is Dec 7-15th, I am so upset that Cirque will not be performing those days, it is an amazing experience! I left there with a big smile on my face:)
