2 Princesses, a mom and Grumpy-1st Trip Final Thoughts

Brooklynn was almost big enough to reach the height line at Barnstormer - close enough that they let her through. She rode, but it wasn't a pretty sight. She was scared to death. I was in front of her and Jill, turned around taking pictures, and seeing her little face traumatized me!

I am anxious for the day she is big enough to ride Soarin', which in my opinion is a much smoother and milder ride than Barnstormer. I really don't see how they figure Barnstormer is more appropriate for a little one than Soarin' is, but I am not the rule-maker.

Have fun with the rest of your planning. It is getting ever closer!!!

Yay for Avery beign 42 inches, that's great. My shortest is 39 inches!! I'm hoping she hits 40 in the next 2 weeks, ya never know. I did measure her last month, so we'll check it out today!

If you were the rule-maker I think things would run much better. I am a little worried about Cayley on Barnstormer. She is not a thrill junkie like Avery!

Make sure you measure her in shoes since she will have them on at WDW! Good luck.

Just finished off all the paprerwork for Kindergarten registration. :scared1: I am sure going to miss my girl next year. Not to start a debate but I think full day kindergarten is to much for 5 and 6 year olds. But that is what we got. She is going to a school that uses the International Baccalaureate program. Very exciting. She is very ready to go and very excited. Not as excited as for our trip though. She tells me everyday that she is "my Disney buddy":love:

I totally agree that all day K is too much! I'm sure you'll shed some tears that first day sending your little girl to school. I get chocked up thinking about sending Emily to pre-school next year without me. It's only 2 afternoons, but still!!:sad2:

I feel ya!! I registered Ally a few weeks ago. :sad2: Ally starts in August--when does school start where you live? I know when I taught K we had to have a full day or we wouldn't get in everything we needed to--crazy--huh?! Kindergarten is now what 1st grade used to be when we were little. They expect soooo much!!

18 days!!! :cool1::dance3::cool1:

Kindergarten wore Lindsey out. They expect so much more out of children these days. Lindsey would come home and a few minutes later she would be sleeping on the couch or in her bed. Poor little things just aren't built for it at 5 and 6. Sounds like a great program though!

Avery is such a sweetie! How cute :cutie:

I will, I cried when Cayley went to school by herself (with Avery) when I was laid off back in Oct. Now I look forward to those days LOL

We also start in Aug. I am hopefully teaching pre school this year so will have to take the first day off to take Avery. She has half days for the first 3 days. She is already doing many of the things they do in K so I think she will have a fun year.
