J.K. Rowling announced a few weeks ago that 2 major characters will die in the final book of the Harry Potter series. Who do you think are the two that will die?

I've read similar interviews, and I read about it when it was first leaked that and I quote "she is killing two characters she didn't expect to kill" shes already been quoted saying that the last book will be a "bloodbath" more than two will die.

I have many theories but my wrists are hurting me, i'll post them later.

The news channels here just had part of an interview of J.K Rowling. She said that she is ending the book how she has planned it all along. Hermonie wont die, because shes 2 smart. Ron might, and for Harry, i'm not sure. I think Snape could die. I'm not sure on any of it.

I was kinda mad when this got such a huge hype from the media. If anyone saw Melissa Anelli on MSNBC a few weeks ago, you'll know what I mean. These are minor characters that she is talking about. My vote is that Lupin and Wormtail are the two. Harry was always going to die or live. That hasn't changed sine 1991. Also, one got a reprieve. My money is on Snape.

Well, since the profet [sp??] says that both Harry and Voldemort cannot be alive at once, one of them has to die, if not both. As much as I would hate it to end with Harry dying, I wouldn't be surprised. That way, the series is completely ended. No one will wonder what adventure Harry will face next after his seven years of school. In sort of a sick way, it gives closure to the series, makes it complete; It'll follow the entire life of "the boy who lived," if that makes any sense.

Harry will most likely die.
However, it would make sense if both of them died, just because fans would never get off her case to write about what happened after his death. Sure it would be more Voldemort & Blahblahblahblah, but do you catch my drift?
