1. Can a placeholder be used on any booking that's not blacked out? Like *GT rooms or Resident deals?

2. Can an adult that is going with a child book two placeholders or only one? Whose name goes on the second placeholder, if it's allowed? Can you add people who aren't on the cruise?

1. OBB discounts cannot be applied to *GT bookings. The actual wording on the DCL website is "The stateroom offer cannot be combined with any other discounted or promotional offer". So I'm guessing that resident discounts would also not be allowed.

Don't know if it's different now, but the onboard booking information sheet we got has this in the fine print "Offer not valid for Concierge-level category, IGT, OGT, VGT categories with restrictions and 2 night cruises."

2. Each household address can book up to 2 placeholders/rooms on one future cruise. I doubt that a child can book a cruise. You can put another person's name (not on the cruise) on the second placeholder/room. In that instance the person doing the onboard booking MUST take the future cruise, if they cancel their room, the other room will lose the onboard booking benefits.

Thanks. I knew you'd have the answers, PrincessShmoo. :)

About 2. To be clear, if DS and I take a cruise, then book a placeholder under my name and one under DH (who is not sailing), we can use both, as long as I don't cancel. DH could cancel, but I can't cancel my sailing. Correct?

Right. At least one person on the onboard booking reservations (that's on the cruise when the reservation was made) must take the future cruise.
