2 Person vs. 3 Person rides

I'm just curious which rides will accommodate 3 people and which can only hold 2. It will just be me, my husband and our daughter (5). I love the idea of us being able to ride everything together but I know that's not realistic so I'd like to plan ahead. Can anyone give me some insight on this?

We are in the same boat, me, my husband and my 5 year old son. While there will be some rides where you can fit 3 in a row (Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Small World) there will be many where it's only 2 across.

While you CAN squeeze 3 in a row for Toy Story Mania, only 2 of you will be able to shoot the arcade games. You can only fit two people in Buzz Lightyear... Only 2 per car in the Tomorrowland Speedway... hmmm

Off the top of my head these are rides/attractions that you can all three ride/do without being split up:

MK- Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Winnie the Pooh, the Ariel ride, Aladdin's Magic Carpets (each carpet holds 4. 2 in front 2 in back), Pirates of Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Tea Cups

Epcot- Soarin, Test Track, Turtle Talk, Seas With Nemo,Living With the Land, Ellen's Energy Adventure, The Three Caballeros ride,

HS- Tower of Terror, Star Tours, The Great Movie ride,

AK- Kilamajaro Safari, Kali River Rapids, Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, It's Tough to be a Bug

I know I am missing some rides, but those were just off the top of my head. If you look on the Disney website under things to do/attractions tab it should list every ride with details. Also, there are tons of shows that I didn't list where you will all be seated together.

Thanks! It helps me to know these things ahead of time so my husband and I can figure out who's riding solo on what.

It honestly would depend on how large the adults and child are-I believe on many rides like Peter pan, Winnie the pooh, dumbo, etc, they allow 3 across as long as you all comfortably fit
I know at Haunted Mansion and Under the Sea the cars are large and 3 should have no problem fitting-roller coasters are typically 2 per row, buzz light year and toy story midway mania may allow 3 per row but only have 2 guns so wouldn't make sense to ride 3 across unless 2 were sharing a gun.
