that's quite depressing. if it was teenagers who did the shooting, where'd they get the gun, and how'd they get into the park. reasons like this we need better gun laws.

Here's some nonsense for you. The State just or is getting ready to pass a law allowing people to bring guns to work! Along with the "you can shoot someone who is bothering you" law they passed a couple of years ago, makes this a gun lovers paradise. And officials wonder why the murder rate has skyrocketing.

Seriously, I can't count the number of times I've simply walked past security at a parks entrance without them even looking at me. Personally, I'd much rather see a series of "wanding" or metal detector area at the park before you walk in...

too true. its part of the reason they closed Astroworld in Houston......too much gang activity. a friend of mine was in their show their last summer and she had to be police escorted to the theatre.

I agree 100%. It makes me nervous to be able to walk into WDW as easily as I do. They check bags, but not people. If someone wanted to get into the parks with a gun, it'll be very easy.

In this case I think better parenting would help as well. Teenagers with guns is a problem and tougher gun laws aren't going to fix that. The guns will still be there. Its a matter of parents teaching these kids some self restraint when someone taunts them.

We have metal detectors at Canada's Wonderland. I just assumed all parks had them nowadays.
