Ugh! I thought I was done w/ my ADR's but now my husband suggested that we pick an "adult" restaurant. Most of the one's we have are character dinings and more geared towards our kids like Sci Fi and Whispering Canyon? So with that said, he's a pork chop, steak kind of guy and of course I cant get a reservation at Le Cellier so some suggestions please... Has to be on Dining plan and please dont say Le Cellier cuz Ive trying w/ no success and I dont think its gonna happer either!:rotfl2: no signatures please.

Oh and which would you drop Sci Fi or Whisp Canyon?:confused3

Your last question first....I would drop Sci-Fi. Have eaten at both and we love WCC. It is a meat and potatoe kind of place, so that will help fit DH's bill.
Sci-Fi was just "ok", nothing special. The cars and movie thing is cool, but after about 15 mins I was over it and wanting to move on.

As for other ressies not so kid oriented....Coral Reef has a nice strip on their menu. It can be a bit "nice" yet kid friendly with the tank and everything.

Tony's, while Italian I hear has a very good steak. Some even say it is better than the pasta dishes. LOL

I do believe the Turf Club at SSR is a steak place. I haven't eaten there, but always try to....just doesn't get done.

Good luck planning.........and enjoy your trip!

I agree with this 100%. I'm glad I tried it, but I never have to go back there again.

My girlfriend and I both think the beef tenderloin at Les Chef's is better than any steak at LC.

Le Cellier it good, but it isnt THAT good. Really, we go for the soup.

Anyway to answer your meat question, my dh preferred his meat at Sanaa, the wave and coral reef over le cellier. I think the wave was his favorite but he enjoyed the others more than his fillet at le cellier.

I would drop Whispering Canyon but we had an awful meal there. Sci Fi isn't top notch but its fun and consistent.

Without doing signature dining, I would say head over to the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian for an excellent Prime Rib. They have a pretty varied menu and a great atmosphere.

I loved the Sci-Fi Dine-In. I think the theme is marvelous, and the food was pretty good too. So I would drop WCC.
