So you can get a 1 day 2 park pass. How do I get this? Is it feasible to do both parks in one day? My husband and my 2 children will be with me. The trip is in mid May. I see the parks close at 7:00 during this time. Any info on your experiences would be appreciated.

I think it's feasible. I'm usually done with the rides I 'want' to do in 3 hours or so in each park. Just make a plan of action and do some research and you can absolutely do both in a day!

You do pay a bit more to get the option of going to the other park. We have 4 children and they don't ride a lot of the rides at either place because of size but there are still lots of things we like to do. Personally I don't think we would try to do them both in one day because it would feel too rushed. And depending on the lines you might end up waiting a lot. The best thing we ever did was to stay on property last time and had the "front of the line pass". It really helped us to do more. We still like to take our time though and if the kids enjoy a ride we like to let them ride it again, or linger at lunch in the prehistoric place doing all the hands-on stuff. How old are your kids? If they were teens you could probably do it with both parks. Just depends on how rushed you want to feel.

One day with adults only can be done.
With kids, I'd suggest you spend a day at each park. The kids can easily spend a couple hours in the play ground areas alone. Plus little kids get tired by the afternoon and it would be too much dragging them thru two parks.

We just got back from 2 days there with 3 kids, 9, 7, 3. We spent a full day at each park in order to do all the shows/rides at least once. At that we had FOTL and kept moving. You would have to prioritize with one day, and decide what you want to do and what you don't want to do.

mid-may and not onsite, I'd get there by 8:30. crowds will be picking up, and guess where our schools go on end of the year field trips? you can do it if you're ready to move quickly. use express passes and hit the highlights of the parks.
