2 parks 1 day

Staying at Hardrock then going to park next day with wife and 2 kids (4 and 6) I know they cant do everything but should be enough to get them all excited. If we enter IOA(harry potter area) the hour early since we are staying on property and have the unlimited express passes should we be able to do most of both parks in 1 day? If so should we scratch the hour early since kids are too small for most of IOA and start at US? Thoughts and ideas are appreciated.

You should be OK with doing most attractions since you will have unlimited Express access. I'm assuming you will be skipping some of the bigger rides so you will have plenty of time to do the rides your kids will enjoy. I would do the Studios first and then head over to IOA but you will get early entry into IOA and WWoHP for staying onsite so it would be best to start there.
