2 park one day ticket price?

First post ever and I am posting in regards to Universal when I am a huge Disney fan, go figure. We are going to Disney and want to go for one day to universal however I just looked at the price and I am in shock! I did not read the posting directions so not sure I can put the amount down but it was a lot. Is there a place to get discounted tickets?

A one day two park ticket is going to be expensive and there are no discounts to be found for them as far as I've heard. It's $147 plus tax. (156.56)

A one day park hopper at Disney is similar in price at $150 + tax. (165.08) (MK price)

I know, thanks for confirming. Its just so hard when you realize just how much each day costs you when broken down. Now we have to decide if Universal is worth $626 to see mainly Harry Potter.

for that kind of money and if you go for HP mainly, you might want to consider a hotel onsite or partner to get Early Entry.

We are staying at Disney for the week but thought we'd go to Universal for the first time but at that money I may we think this.....

You guys should really think about doing a trip to Universal and skip Disney one time. Just like at Disney, the longer you are there, the better the ticket prices are and also the better the hotel prices get (Stay More, Save More). You'll find that 4-5 day trip will allow you to do a lot and still have a time to enjoy the resort as well. And you could do a DTD if you need a Disney fix.

Just like Disney. ONE day is not going to be cheap.It becomes cheaper the longer you stay.One day tickets are rarely if ever discounted.We don't do Disney the same trip as Universal ( actually we don't do Disney really at all anymore, Uni has spoiled us)
