Budget and schedule are keeping us from a longer cruise, but I simply couldn't resist booking a 2 night cruise for my 18 year old daughter and me for April 2018. This will be our 4th Disney cruise and in my mind a 2 night DC is better than no DC, right?

So here is what I want to know: has anyone done a 2 night cruise? What should we expect in terms of entertainment, etc.

Thank you!

2 night cruise goes by very fast but yes better than no days. It was actually the only cruise we didn’t unpack our bags for. We had two “Disney” shows, 2 standard rotational menus. In retrospect I wish I had done Palo dinner since part of what I enjoy in the main dining rooms is establishing a reltiomship with the servers, on a 2 night you can’t do that anyway. Still fun but very quick

They are very quick! There's a lot of action all over the ship. It will be a fun time. The shows will be the broadway style shows. I've done a couple of the 2 night cruises and didn't go to the MDRs because I didn't want to spend that much time sitting in a restaurant since the time on board is so short. I also didn't get personalized service from the room stewards like I do on the longer cruises. They are in a big rush since they have to completely turn over the room on the first day and basically 2 days later.

I agree, room stewards really didn't take any time to get to know us either. Very different experience with the staff overall.

The 2-night cruises look like fun weekend getaways- very convenient for not missing much work or school. We just got back from a 3-night cruise and loved it. It was a complete vacation experience, although not a long one.
