We leave in the morning and I was wondering if there was any way to tell what type of plane we would have. I tried to look on my reservation, but couldn't see any model number of our plane.

I was hoping to find out how many seats there are across, etc.

Also, my husband is borderline "customer of size" and if there are 3 seats across and we have all 3, they won't make it an issue, will they?

Thanks in advance!

Jenny

Hubby is 5'11" and a bit over 300, and even when he needs a seatbelt extender (which he does not on SW or most normal airplanes now) he hasn't been told to get another seat. (which is why I doubt director Kevin Smith's story so so so very much but that's another thread LOL)

He will twist himself into a pretzel to not impact someone else, and maybe that's why, but whether he's traveling alone or with us, he hasn't had anyone tell him to get another seat.

Same thing with us. It's never an issue. He sits in the aisle seat and I sit next to him....not a problem. :thumbsup2

They might. You should review SWA's policy on this issue:

Can a large Customer sit with a family member or a small person who doesn't take a full seat?

No. Open seating cannot guarantee that two people will be able to sit together. In addition, we must treat the smaller person (despite willingness or personal relationship) as a valued Customer who deserves the use of a full seat. Most importantly, we have to consider the safety aspect of the family member whose movement (especially in the event of an emergency) could be compromised if encroached on by a large seatmate.
