First: Is there a big difference in crowds between the first week of October and the second week? I know that the seasons change on October 4, and we might not get to go then because of DH's work schedule. He has to wait 1 year before he gets vacation, and his first day is today, so I don't know if he can get the week before off or not...

Second: Has anyone ever snuck a 10 year old in as a 9 year old? Or a 3 year old as a 2 year old? How closely is this watched? The children we are traveling with are going to miss the cutt of by about 2 months. I know it's dishonest, but we are working on a budget here. :-)

Thanks again!!

I've never noticed a big difference in crowds in October other than they've gotten heavier since the late 90s.

In terms of sneaking kids in, I'd personally not choose to do it, but I've never seen CMs carding kids.

I remember once when I was a kid and my father tried to lie about my brothers age. My brother was adament about announcing that he was not 12, the was 13. It was very loud and very embarrasing. I was only 6 and I was embarrassed. Plus, I wondered how and why my father could lie so easily. You may want to think about the lessons you teach your children before considering doing this.
