2 hours kid free time?

My children will be doing the Pirate Adventure Cruise at the Beach Club Resort from 9:30-11:30am. What would you do with 2 hours of free time without the kids. It would be my husband and myself. Breakfast at beach club? Walk to enjoy EPCOT F&W festival? Need some ideas?

There probably won't be too much to do at F&W during that timeframe, but you could head to boulangerie patisserie(France Pavilion) and grab something over there and stroll through World Showcase. It's usually peaceful at that time of day, and you can explore some areas that you might normally just walk past.

Correct. It officially opens at 11A, but you can get in if you are going to boulangerie, then you can walk around at your leisure.

You could also take a walk over to the Bakery in France http://allears.net/dining/menu/boulangerie-patisserie-les-halles/all-day and get some breakfast there. I'm pretty sure it opens at 9 am in the morning and it is accessible through the International Gate. If the weather is nice this might be a sweet way to enjoy a walk in the early morning World Showcase area without the thundering herds.

If you are in the market for a sit down breakfast I recommend the Captain's Grille. http://allears.net/dining/menu/captains-grille/breakfast They have a breakfast buffet with a specify your omelet option and they also have a decadent breakfast menu with a lobster omelet!

Yes, it opens at 9:00. You won't be able to walk beyond France to other countries. It's roped off until 11:00.

Hmmm let me see.. getting rid of our kids for two hours on vacation.. A vacation where we are sharing are room for a week with our kids..... hmmmmm

would probably involve DH and I, NOT leaving our hotel room..
seriously if we were at the BC, I would allocate 30 minutes for us in our room, leaving, 1.5 hrs of me chilling with a drink at the pool with my eyes closed.

had to laugh as my post made me remember a all-inclusive club vacation we did with the kids.. resort had breakfast hours and then at 10am the kiddie club opened. you could see the masses of parents dropping their kids off and almost everyone then went back to their rooms and didnt come out for a while.

The rope must be new(well... I haven't been in a year and a half) since they opened the bakery at 9. I've walked many times through World Showcase prior to opening with no problem in the past. Too bad....

You can walk to France for breakfast at Les Halles which opens at 9:00 or walk along the path past UK, Canada, Mexico to Norway for breakfast at Akershus. There are ropes and CMs blocking the path between France and Norway.
