2* Hotel in Hershey on Hotwire HELP!!!!

Update! I found the Econolodge on Lucy Street, Hershey and recommended by a Dis'er on my Econolodge thread........Lucy Street is in my budget, $89 AAA rate

I'm staying in this one tomorrow for the Pa Ren Faire. My husband has Reward points.I will let you know how it is on Monday. (Pm me on Monday)

Thanks! I appreciate it! I have had good luck with Holiday Inns in the past so I hope this one is the same.

We only stay at Holiday inns.We like the points system.MY husband stays at them for work and then we use the points. We have used them in Disney, New York, Maryland and now we have enough to stay in Holiday inn Vacation Club outside Disney. So will let you know on Monday. I also saw that they have larger rooms iwth 3 queen size beds for bigger families at this one in PA.

I just came back from Comfort Inn on Mae St.

Wonderful location! Literally 3 minutes from Hersheypark's gates. I timed it! so, about 7 minutes after the leaving the hotel, I drive thrut he gates, paid, parking and walking to the entrance gates to the park itself. :thumbsup2

I paid $134/179 for the 2 nights, but it was because I booked waaay late. I assume, a proper time for bookign would get better rates. Way better than most around. And definitely way better than Hotel Hershey! LOL!

It was in a pretty area, quiet, good breakfast, and employees are polite & efficient. All wins in my book. :thumbsup2

Dutch Motel Palmyra
Never stayed here before but thinking of taking the grandson before school and going to give it a try. It will be nice to stay right in Hershey Area, and not at the campground for that rate.....We stay at Econo Grantville for years.

I just saw the Orbitz special offers for Dutch Motel Palmyra $53 with taxes $58, for next week. It is only minutes from the park.

I passed it on my way down & back. And no, DO NOT stay there. It looked beyond awful. :sad2:

We're heading to Hershey this coming weekend (and we've been down the last 5 years).

We always stay in Harrisburg off Eisenhower Blvd. There's quite a few places over there - Howard Johnson, Econolodge, Sheraton, Wyndham, Red Roof Inn and we found the LaQuinta over there as well for $79 a night.

I personally never use those auction sites because I want to actually see and know where I'm choosing from before I pay for it. Not knowing before hand leaves too much room for disaster. (Granted, I know that pictures are not always an accurate depiction of what the hotel actually looks like, based on experience..LOL).

Check expedia.com, travelocity and shop around, then go the hotels website directly and see what they're offering. You might find something nicer and inexpensive. Good luck!
