2 guys, a mom and the mouse. NOW COMPLETED!!! PIC INTENSIVE TR.

Just started reading your trip report. It's great and I love all your pictures. My husband and I have annual passes and will be going tomorrow to see the Halloween decorations. I swear we get passes just for this time of the year. LOL! I'm so anxious to go on Space Mountion Ghost Galaxy, you really have me wondering just what we are in for. And that Mickey pumpkin mug is too cute, I must get one. I'm also jealous that you got to see the dragon in Fantasmic, when they added him for summer nightastic we went just about everyday trying to see that stupid thing and it was never working. Now they only have Fantasmic on the weekends and we can't stand going then because it's just so crowded. I guess it's not our destiny to see him. :sad2:
Anyway I can't wait to read the rest of your trip. :thumbsup2

Not even that. We live in Sacramento. We homeschool and on the monthly calendar I have the days we are going listed as a field trip. We are getting up "ugly early" and loading him in the car. Going to see how long we can postpone telling him. Hoping we can make it all the way to the hotel before he figures it out. It is his first time at DL. We are WDW people but living in in CA now it only makes sense to go to DL.

Need to get a pretrip report started.

That is so totally awesome!! I wish my parents would have been that clever....

I should have some more up tonight around 8:00 PM PST. I have no interest in watching The Cleveland Show.

I'm glad you are enjoying my TR. Have a blast on SMGG! I think it is a lot of fun! If you can, you really should try and brave the weekends so you can see Murphy. She is beautiful!

After the amazing fireworks we headed to SPGG. I was looking forward to riding it, but unfortunately my mother and I got into an argument because she did not like the crowds. At that point, I took her back to the room and I spent the rest of the night pouting while Dan and Chris enjoyed a few more rides in DL. After calling my father and listening to his, plus Chris and Dan's advice, I decided to not let it ruin my vacation if my mother did not have the "disney gene". I made a vow to have a great rest of the trip. I went to bed feeling good about the coming morning.

My Mum also wan't blessed with the Disney Gene. Some people just aren't as fortunate as others LOL. She did go to WDW with me and liked it but does not want to go to DLR as she's been to Disney. I've pointed out they're different she just doesn't care...I'm so close to disowning her LOL.

Anyway going back to continue reading your report. Loving the pics.

Part 7 !

Sunday Sept 27th

Getting up was difficult. We had sore muscles and feet, and did not get a lot of sleep, but Chris and I did not want to miss our magic morning.

Thank God for free coffee, 5 hour energy and painkillers. Unlike me, Chris is good to go after a cup of coffee. Damn healthy people...

We boarded the monorail and once we arrived in tomorrowland, we headed straight for SMGG.

Hmmph... what could this sign mean? Could this mean that parents may want to think twice about taking their children on this ride. Then why were so many parents ignoring it and letting their kids have meltdowns?

100_2612.jpg

See how I am all scrunchy in this picture... it even scared me. J/K, I just get kind of scrunchy on coasters sometimes.

100_2613.jpg

After our space voyage, we headed to fantasyland. We chose Mr. Toad as it is Chris's favorite of the dark rides.

After our lovely drive to no where in particular... and hell, we headed to the matterhorn!

100_2621.jpg

I was in a coaster mood and wanted more SPGG before the crowds came in so we headed back to ride it once more. We wanted FP's for later in the day. We snagged some fast passes right as the clock turned eight and we went on the ride one last time.

100_2624.jpg

Seriously, these signs were everywhere...

100_2625.jpg

I tried to make myself less scrunchy this time.

100_2626.jpg

After getting off space we headed over to frontierland for another ride on BTMRR.

100_2628.jpg

Since we were in the area, we decided to hit up pirates since we knew it would be closed the next day. Here we are being pirates. I was a sad pirate since I knew it would be my last ride for that trip.

100_2629.jpg

Once we came back ashore, we headed to a restaurant I was very excited about trying... The carnation cafe.

100_2633.jpg

Cinnamon Roll French Toast - A decadent pairing of two breakfast favorites! A soft, gooey, cinnamon roll coated in savory egg batter, then lightly grilled to perfection! Topped with cream cheese icing, powdered sugar and a sprig of fresh mint. With whipped butter and maple syrup, plus a choice of smoked bacon or sausage links. (Chris had this)

100_2634.jpg

Croissant Benedict - Hollandaise sauce atop poached eggs and honey ham on an open-faced croissant. Served with Cafe Breakfast potatoes. ( I had this and it was sooooo delicious!)

100_2635.jpg

After a wonderful breakfast, we headed down Main Street to the main entrance so we could park hop to DCA and get a little more thrill ride time before we picked up my mother, who does not enjoy the thrill rides.

Along the way, we stopped in town square for a photo op.

100_2636.jpg

We hustled our way over to California Screamin as it seemed a lot of people were en route to TOT.

100_2638.jpg

After a quick time check we realized that we had to be at the hotel at 11 to pick up my mother. So we rushed over TOT to ride that before my mother was with us, so she would not have to wait.

Over at tower, we met up with a friend of ours who works in the animation building and is going to be trained to work TOT this week. She is the blond one who is sitting next to Chris. Some of you may remember her from my last trip report. Her name is Brittany. Next to her, is her friend Jessica. (I think)

100_2640.jpg

Brittany and Jessica were in the park celebrating Brittany's birthday. I have discovered that a lot of CM's don't come to the park on their day off... Not brittany though. If you give her an excuse to do Disneyland, she'll be there.

After TOT, we said "see you later" to Brittany and Jessica, promising to meet up with them after my mother went back to the DLH for the evening.

We walked back to the hotel through the GCH and downtown disney, so we could enjoy a cigarette on the way.

Part 8 coming tomorrow!

PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

It did make it difficult, my mother not having the Disney gene. I think I may have got it from my dad. He always really seemed to enjoy disneyland. I think i he could today, he would go to the park.

I'm glad you are enjoying the TR

You know I must say I think I am getting a little picture crush on you two! I really am gonna be sad when your TR is over. :(

Saw your post in the October TR thread. Subscribing - be back tomorrow to check it out :thumbsup2

I must apoplogize for not adding my part in sooner, i've had to be at work at 5am and have not gotten more then 4 hours of sleep a night, I will def post some pics tomorrow afternoon as I have tuesday off:thumbsup2

It looks as if it was still sort of dark out during the MM?!? That's some dedication, getting to the Park before the sun's out!

I see that you're also a fan of Cafe' Orleans' pommes frites...you may already know this, but Trader Joe's carries a near-exact replica of them on the frozen foods aisle...perfect for between trips :thumbsup2

Wow, looks like you, your mother and your friends had ALOT of fun over there. Since i'm still a newb on these boards and will most likely start a Pre-TR a few days before we go, I have a few questions.

Did you write anything down on the days you were there? Or just had a good memory when you came back from looking at the pictures? What's best to cover on a TR, the day, the food and the random things that go on?

Also random questions, where exactly do you get that LGMH? I know at Home Depot, but the exact spot or whatever, I want to get one for my backpack/wear it on my jacket. :D

I see you had a tattoo on your calf, mind telling us what it was? Saw that it was a rainbow color, i'm interested in it. Also loved that Rebel tattoo on your arm. :D

Can't wait for part 8!

Carnation Cafe looks so good for breakfast, the eggs benedict looks amazing!

Great report. You both look so sleepy in the first pictures and then just a couple of pictures later you are wide awake with big smiles. Who needs sleep when you are at Disney?!

I did not know that. Thanks for htat little tidbit!

Carnation is our favorite breakfast place. We never visit without having breakfast there. On my last trip, my friend had that one with the hollandaise sauce and loved it. My DD's friend had the french toast on our first breakfast at Carnation and couldn't finish it all. lol

I'm loving your TR. I think my coworkers think I'm nuts since I actually laughed out loud at the early morning pic of Chris with his coffee and cigarette. lol I'm glad to know we're not the only diehards. haha

When is your spring break trip?

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR READING. IT MAKES ME FEEL REALLY SPECIAL WHEN I GET TO SHARE MY DISNEY EXPERIENCES WITH PEOPLE WHO WANT TO HEAR IT!

I'LL HAVE MORE UP IN A LITTLE WHILE.

Actually, thank you for posting your TR.

I'm loving your report...your sense of humor is great. Love the ride picture of you trying to look less squished. It really looks like you're trying to sit up tall! :lmao:
