We're going in Jan. and wanted some ideas as to where to eat and get these reservations down. I'm going to let them choose where, but I would like to give them the choices. They are into princess and other disney, but not pooh, pluto, etc. but love Lilo and Stitch. We watch Disney all the time, but like Kim Possible, Lizze McGuire, etc. I think that is disney. All suggestions will be welcomed. Girls will be 10 and almost 8. They are into gymnastics and horses.

Ohanas would be a good choice for a character breakfast...it now features Lilo and Stitch. Even if they are 10 and 8, if they have never experienced a Princess meal before, I would schedule one. Dining inside the Castle is a very special experience, which they could see multiple princesses for any meal. If you can't get that one, or want to save a few dollars, the Princess meal at Norway in Epcot also features multiple princesses, and can be for any meal. My DD8 just LOVES the 50's Prime Time Caft at Disney Studios, and all 3 of my kids love the Sci-Fi dine in. They are unique dining experiences. Whispering Canyon in the Wilderness Lodge can be lots of fun, too. We all really enjoy the Hoop-Dee-Doo, and it has become a "must-do" on our WDW vacations. Happy planning! (We'll be there in Jan. too!) :wave2:

More like where not to eat. :goodvibes

The Stitch Breakfast was great. Loads of fun.
The Castle is a must for all princess lovers. If you can't get an adr, keep trying, even when you get to WDW, people cancel. Don't give up. :thumbsup2

Bumping this up for more ideas. I'm going to try to do Ohara's w/ Lilo and Stitch and try to do castle. Should I do breakfast, lunch or dinner? any other must do places? :wizard:

I would say ohanas breakfast and norway and the castle! Oh and for animal lovers I say Rainforest Cafe, such a fun place lots to look at while you eat!

I have 3 DD's ages 10, 7, and 4. They love Sci-Fi for lunch. They love Whispering Canyon for dinner. Chef Mickey's is still their favorite for breakfast. They also always ask to eat at Ohana for dinner so they can do they hula hoop contests and coconut races. We have eaten in the castle twice and we really felt rushed both times. Enjoy your trip.

Okay, right now we're going to do 50's prime time, Chef Mickey, Ohana's for Breakfast and Liberty tree Tavern. Have I missed any must dos?

I highly recommend 1900 Park Fare at the GF. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets have very good food (best buffets on property, IMHO, and we've done most of 'em). The character interation is also very good, especially for older kids. They have a lot of 'face' characters. Mary Poppins, Alice, and Mad Hatter at breakfast (as well as Pooh and Eeyore)........it's a lot of fun to talk and joke with them (moreso than talking at a furry suit that nods back and talks via hand gestures......not that those character meals aren't a lot of fun also) and Alice and Mary always have something interesting to talk about, and that Mad Hatter, well he's just plain silly. Our kids usually do the Wonderland Tea Party, and it's the same Alice who remembers them. Makes the interaction all the more fun. Dinner has Cindy, the Prince, Suzy and Perla......a great princess option and you get a lot more interaction with Cindarella here than you'll get with any of the princesses at CRT or SBP.

I also agree with 1900 park fare, and they would probably enjoy sci fi, getting to eat tin the cars is a neat experience, still for me!

All of those are good. I have a daughter who is 9 and she loves those! I would add (as others have) 1900 Park Fare. Breakfast is Alice and friends, dinner is Cinderella and friends. The castle is nice but so darn expensive and with the menu changes we won't return. The Norway breakfast is great, its got tons of princesses (lunch and dinner too but a Norweigan style menu they might not like). I might also recommend Sci Fi Dine In. Very fun atmosphere, good burgers and not that expensive by WDW standards. And I love Chef Mickey's and Liberty Tree but you did say they don't like Pluto and such which is what both of those have (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale). Have you checked out www.allearsnet.com This site gives menus, pricing and has a section that tells you what character is at what buffet. Good luck, they will have a ball wherever you take them!
