2 free nights at CBR - woo hoo!!!

On our last trip to WDW (9/00, yes, that's 2000, over 2 years ago) we stayed at CBR and had a few problems with the room and the CM's, after the trip I sent a few emails and letters to people at Disney letting them know of our problems. Last week I got a call from someone at Disney who was very nice and helpful and said that they wanted to offer us two free nights at CBR during our next stay to make up for the previous stay. I got the letter in the mail yesterday as promised - guess it's time to plan that next trip! Persistence does pay off, lol.

Just curious....have you been complaining to WDW for 2 years or did they just call you out of the blue after that long?

I may be persistent, but I'm not crazy! lol. They just contacted me out of the blue, I'm not sure if they are cleaning up their complaint files or what, but I wasn't going to complain.

Isn't CBR closed (or is closing) for renovations?

Yes, but I can use the nights anytime I wish, there is no timetable, all I have to do is call Disney when I want to go, tell them about the letter, they will book the rooms for me, then I have to be sure to bring the letter with me when I check in. I probably won't be using them until next September at the earliest anyway.
