2 For The Price of 1: One Trip Done; One More to Plan!

Cammie - Kyle said to tell you thanks for posting more Yankee pics, he really enjoyed them.:thumbsup2

Love the mini-TR and all the pics! :thumbsup2 I am so glad I went to a Yankee's game when I lived out there. There is just something nostalgic about being there, I felt like I was a piece of history, espeically at the end when they were playing "New York, New York" at the end of the game. Gosh I miss it!!!!!! :sad1: I hope we can move back sometime fairly soon...

The girls, and you, look like you had a great time in the sun!

(I found a Louis Vuitton for Cassidy, a fake I am almost certain but a very good one, for Christmas not too long ago...before she realized she like Chanel and Coach for the initials:rotfl: )

Can you believe our kids today? Man are they spoiled! When I was Lauren's age, I carried around a "SportsSac"!

Loved the mini update and all the cute pics of your girls! Just one thing...what's with all those ugly Yankee pictures??? J/K. Although if I've read correctly your not a Patriots fan either? You better be careful or they might kick you out of Mass. soon! :rotfl: Excellent Coach bag prize! Where can I find that game, I need a new pair of Chanel sunglasses! I can't wait to hear about your plans for your upcoming trips. The November trip will be here before you know it!

~Beka~

UGH! No way! Giants all the way, baby! Do you know how obnoxious I was to all my neighbors last year after the Super Bowl? Quite frankly, they deserved it because of the abuse I've gotten lately regarding the Yankees!;)

And, you'll have to travel to the delightful Jersey shore to be able to win such extravagant prizes. Actually there were no Chanel glasses to be won; but there could have been a Wii game in one of the suitcases. My DD was quite happy with the Coach bag though.

Stayed tuned - discussion regarding my Nov. plans to follow shortly.

I'm really glad we got there one last time also. I must say, I was pretty sad when they said they were tearing the old stadium down - I thought that was just wrong. Some things should just be left alone, you know? But the new stadium does look fabulous.

Do you think you would move back?

Thanks y'all....I'm still working on repairs to my house from Katrina, this is just making me sick.:sad2:

What's the latest for you regarding the storm? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you.

Tell him he's welcome!:goodvibes

We're also going to a Yankee/Red Sox game at Fenway at the end of September. I'll be taking pictures there also. (but that stadium isn't as grand as Yankee stadium, IMO! Beka?)

Okay...don't make me leave the thread or anything but I don't carry a purse:scared1: never have. (actually I should amend that...I just started carrying a Vera Bradley) I try to carry a purse and I just get tired of it after about 1 week.

Thankfully, I've raised my girls to be cheapskates:rotfl: Cassidy has no real dream of having a real "name" purse.

Just a quick hi! :goodvibes Enjoyed the baseball pictures. I like baseball. Not so much about the game as I generally am about how much better those pricey beers taste! :rotfl2:

OMG - thank you for posting that link for me! I'm definitely going to print some out. I know my daughter may say she'd be mortified to get one in her lunch box; but I know deep down, it will make her day!:)

Great...she made some many you can use a different one each day for about 3 weeks....lol

Why am I not surprised by this!!! :rotfl2:

Cammie, I sent the first one with Ally today!!! But now that I have Jonas Bros, I'm sure she'll be even happiers!

Hi Cammie! Well, after a lot of discussion and playing with the numbers, we've decided to go with the Deluxe Dining Plan again on our next trip. We just loved the convenience of eating ANYWHERE we wanted! Our meals became as important as experiencing the attractions themselves!

Hope all is well with you and the girls. Have a great week!

Alan - "Our meals became as important as experiencing the attractions themselves!" We totally agree! But keep in mind that the DxDDP will take up a LOT of time each day, waiting on ADRs, and eating. But you do get to enjoy so many great options that only Disney can offer, so enjoy!!!

Good morning everyone! ONE MORE DAY until school starts around here! < Me; :sad2: :sad1: < Amanda and Lauren.

Once the girls are out of here, I'll get back to focusing on this TR. I can't believe our trip is a little over two months away - and I still have to order our tix to MVMCP, make shirts, buys shoes, arrange transportation to and from the airport, etc. As for my Feb. trip, I'm still waiting for those Feb.fares from JetBlue. Word on the transportation board is that they should be out this Friday, so I'm anxious to see what they're offering. Delta is over $600 per ticket; and SW is @ $500. At this point, I'll be happy if I can get two tickets for under $1000! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Great...she made some many you can use a different one each day for about 3 weeks....lol

I've got them all saved on my computer and am printing them off today! She's going to be so excited and embarassed at the same time!:)

Good for you guys, Alan! One of these days, I'm sure I'm going to be doing the same thing! There are just too many dining opportunities I feel we're missing out on because of the OOP cost.

Cammie - I wanna see plans for this trip! We've got some planning of our own to do ya know! We've got slushies to sip (or gulp!) and kids to meet! Let's get crackin Missy!!!! Time's a wastin'.

It does look really beautiful!!

And yep! That is our plan. We are putting the house on the market, it should have been done a couple weeks ago, but being out of town and all that delayed it-then we hope to move to Minneapolis for a while and then make the jump to NYC!

Be sure to share the reaction to the lunch notes!!!

Well, I sent my youngest off to school this morning - excited and nervous! And, yes, I cried a little! I can't believe my baby is in 7th grade!:sad1:

Hi Cammie, please let me know her first reaction to the lunch notes...lol

Be sure to share the reaction to the lunch notes!!!

I'll let you know!:goodvibes I made sure to put it at the bottom of her lunch bag - with her lunch on top of it. So hopefully, she'll just look in, see it, smile and no one else around her will be any wiser. But, honestly, after her reaction at the mall last night, I'm thinking she may kill me for putting it in there. She bought a Nick Jonas poster and was carrying it around. She spotted two boys from her grade and begged me to take the bag from her! GEEZ - the poster was still rolled up and in a bag but she did not want to be seen carrying it! :sad2: I wish she could be more confident and secure in the things she enjoys - I'm sure she's not the only 7th grade girl in her school that owns a Jonas Brothers poster!:rolleyes1

Lucky duck! I would LOVE to move back to the NYC area someday! I miss everything about it!

I know! I know!

I promise - now that the girls are back in school (Amanda starts tomorrow - oops...I thought it was today!), I'll have more time to get this PTR back in gear. There is still soooo much to do!

Fenway is quaint just like the rest of New England. None of that colossal mound of cement stuff!

Yeah - "quaint" is a good way of putting it! That's certainly not a word I would use to describe Yankee Stadium though. You know, with all of those championship banners hanging around the stadium - it's rather jaw dropping and overwhelming!;)

Lunch note update: it was a HUGE hit! And the best part, Lauren wasn't embarassed one bit - she didn't take it out of the lunch box and show anybody - but she said it made her day!:goodvibes
