2 Extra days on Disney Psses

When we first visited Disney (1992) the passes were as they are now, 5 days plus 2 days into water parks etc. Then, the 2 extra days had to be used within the first week or you lost them, is this still the case? or can you use them when you want?

The Plus features on the hopper passes never expire (just like the 'normal' park days), so even if you use up all your park days, if you still have Plus features left over you should hang on to them as they can be used any time in the future.
