2 ECVs - what size car to rent?

Hi,

New here but hope someone can help/advise?

We will be visiting WDW in October but will need to rent 2 ECVs this time (probably the small 3-wheelers from Apple) but are not sure of the best size car to rent. Previously with a wheelchair or ECV we have had a fullsize 4-door car - no way will that take 2 ECVs.

Is an intermediate SUV likely to be big enough to get 2 ECVs in? (website says Ford Escape or similar but being from the UK no idea what that is like size-wise, sorry.) Does anyone have any recommendations?

Staying on-site, so we will take the bus to MK and maybe Epcot, but we like/need to use the car also.

Hi and to DisBoards and disABILTIES!

While Judy was still alive and we were a two ECV family I was able to get both into our Ford Taurus 4-door. My ECV was full size and hers was a Go-Go. I would put both seats in the back seat of the car and the two batteries from mine on the floorboards in the back. Then I was able to fit everything else in the trunk.

If there are only two of you, that method will work with a full-size four door sedan. I would suggest putting a towel under the seat posts to avoid getting any grease on the seats.
