My family is staying at Kidani in a one bedroom for 2 nights and then my brother and his family is joining us for 5 more nights in a 2 bedroom. Right now we have two seperate confirmation numbers. Can I call member services and just have one. We (my family) is using the magicalexpress and I'd also like to make reservations this week for dining.

I think you will need 2 reservation numbers if you are staying in a 1 br for part of the time and a 2 br for the remainder of the trip. Call MS to confirm this. MS can link your reservations so you shouldn't have any trouble with booking your dining reservations. You shouldn't have any trouble with ME with 2 reservation numbers. The first confirmation number will match up with your arrival and the second confirmation number with your departure.

You have two reservation numbers because you have two separate reservations, one for a 1BR and another for a 2BR. Booking DME in this situation is not a problem.

MS cannot link your reservations. That can only be done for reservations for the same room type. For example, if you booked 4 nights in a 2BR lockoff on your points and another DVC member traveling with you booked the next 3 nights in the same room type at the same resort, MS can link them to let the room assigner know to put you in the same 2BR lockoff for the full 7 nights.

There's no guarantee you'll stay in the same villa when you go from one reservation to another so be sure to request that option assuming your 2 BR is a lockoff and not a dedicated unit.

I wasn't expecting to stay in the same villa, but now that you mentioned that is requesting a lock off a good option for us? That way we wouldn't have to move on Sunday.
My main question was concerning dining reservations. I'm not sure if I can make all my dining reservations at once bc I have 2 confirmations. Will I have to wait for the second half of my trip to make the other reservations? Or can they link the two together so that I can make all my reservations starting at 180 days out with my first reservation?
Sorry, not sure if I'm making sense!

You'll have to make them separately or change to a single reservation the entire time such as a 2 BR for all nights. You can request to stay in the same unit but it's still only a request though one they usually honor.

i had 2 res last yr in dec. one at kidani and one at jambo house. each was for a 1br. we did not have any problems at all.

i have 2 1brs reserved for feb.2014 in the same building and they offered to put us as close together since we are friends, but do not want to share the same space. :thumbsup2 the children may go back and forth.
