We are going to MK on one of the days and i can't decide on what to do on the other day. I am getting a hopper and could hit two different parks on one day or ? My son is four and i have a 15 month old daughter. Any suggestions on what park he would like the most besides MK
thanks

That is the perfect age for Playhouse Disney at MGM, but I don't think I would plan on spending a whole day there. Maybe spend one day at MK and the other day at AK and MGM? :earsboy:

thanks for the input. Do you know what time the MK parade starts at night and what day they have early entry?

the times of parades and other events vary depending on what time of year you will be in Disney.

You can check disneyworld.com or allears.net for schedules.

Have a great time. Oh, and I second the MK for a whole day & MGM & AK for the 2nd day.

Another vote for MK one day and MGM/AK the second. If it were me I would do AK first so that you can finish in MGM - you don't want to miss Fantasmic. My kids (7 & 2) both really love it and it is my FAVORITE show in all of WDW

Good luck.

sorry, I referred you to the wrong place!

allearsnet.com is the correct address & has TONS of Disney info!

I wouldn't rule out Epcot. The World Showcase can be lots of fun for kids. There are characters in their respective countries (for example we saw Pooh and Eeyore in UK). We were the only ones there and they spent lots of time with DD. She was 3 at the time. There are all kinds of performers in each country as well. We really liked it because it was a much more relaxed pace then MK.

My then 3yo nephew loved all the rides in Fatasyland and most in Toontown, both are in MK. He also loved the "Playhouse Disney" show at MGM.

What I'd do is spend most of my time at MK, and some time at MGM.

MK: Spend a great deal of time in Fantasyland and Towntown, with plenty of time for character meetings if you think your child wont' be frightend by them. Make sure to see the parade! Also, a visit to Tom Sawyers Island so they can burn off some energy running around in the shade.

MGM: Playhouse Disney for sure, and the parade. Other than that I'm not certain what a pre-schooler would like.

Just back two weeks ago from a trip with my niece and nephew who are 3 1/2 and 14 months. Here is another vote for one full day at MK and a split day between MGM and AK. We could have filled a whole day at MK with just Fantasyland and Toontown although we did venture out a bit more than that to hit a couple other specific attractions.

If your kids won't be up for staying for Fantasmic anyway (and it might be too intense/scary anyway given their ages), I would advise going to MGM in the morning and AK in the afternoon to do the opposite of the typical crowd pattern. We did this and practically had MGM to ourselves until about noon. When we arrived at AK a lot of people were already leaving. Only thing about this strategy is that you should check the show times for things you definitely want to do (at allearsnet or the official disney site) since a couple shows only start later at MGM.

thanks for all the replys. I have even thougth about going one day to mk and then splitting mgm and another half day a MK. We go to disney every other year for two days or so, but i know my son will love MK.

If I only had 2 days, I would probably do just the MK. Even though I could use the variety of going to more parks, my little ones just love the MK. We spent 3 full days there last time just do see everything. They were 3-1/2 and 14 months at the time and wanted to do repeats of everything. Most preschoolers love repitition. THey loved fantasyland, tom sawyers island, the parades, meeting the characters, etc.

MK for sure.

The Lion King show at WK -- they will love it (unless they are scared by loud music). The may like the Tarzan show, too. They have a bird show at AK, too. They may or may not like the safari ride. The zoo part is great if they like animals.

MGM has kid's shows.

The water parks have kiddie areas they will probably like. Also family raft rides with 5 to a raft -- even the younger one could go on that.

My vote is for both days at MK. When we took our 3 1/2 yo daughter and 17 month old son for their first trip to WDW for three days, we did MK the first 2 days and MGM on the last day. This was in early Feb so there were no lines and we could do everything each day and we still chose MK twice before anything else.
