It's been two years since our last Disney Adventure and this will be our first EVER family vacation with just the four of us. We have an enormous family spend our vacations with the extended family at one destination or another...
But 2 days until we arrive at Pop Century, our first stay there. It was recommend to me by our Disney Reservations Agent, a Grandmother of 5! She said POP is where she'd stay at the value level with her Grandkids.
Here is our cast
DH (40 this year, kid at heart)
DD (8 yrs. and trip planning co-captain)
DD (3 yrs. and about to have the best time ever)
Me (30 something)
We are set up for character meals all week, I am most looking forward to 1900 Park Fare with Mary Poppins and Alice and Wonderland and The Playhouse Disney meal at HS
We all have big smiles on our face today, except for DH who has a ton of work to do before he feels like we can leave.
Too bad we've got him on a schedule! DD (8) our co-captain for this trip will keep him on his toes.
DD (3) of course had to start antibiotics for a sinus infection yesterday. I told the doctor last week she was sick, but she didn't believe me. Arghhhh.
So, here is our trip countdown report:
Packed clothes
Purchased Pop up Hamper
Put mail on hold
House clean (ummm, well....)
Snacks for room purchased
Practice for long disney walks...check 2.3 miles last night!
Picked DVDs for van ride
Now on to tunes for the van ride for the Captain
Co-Captain DD(8) keeping everone on their toes...Check, check, check..
