I will be in DL on a Tuesday and Wednesday at the end of June. Here is my tentative plan. Does this make sense?
Tuesday-arrive to be at the enterance at 8am, head over to DCA at opening.
Wednesday-DL at opening

My thought was that since Wednesday has no EE that it would be better to focus my time at DL and do DCA on Tuesday since that should be less crowded. Is that correct?

Next question, on Tuesday what area should I focus my time on since I do not have EE. The lower capacity Fantasyland attractions or the big E-tickets?

Thanks for the help!!! :)

Emily, where will you be staying and what rides (what ages) are the folks who are going with you.

It might make a difference in how best to plan. :thumbsup2

I should have been more specific. DCA opens at 10am so I was going to go to DL from 8am to 10am. I want to know what rides I should focus on at DL for those 2 hours when it is an EE day. I am going by myself so no kids. I want to hit the highlights but I don't have to see everything. I didn't know if in those 2 hours I should try to do Alice, Peter Pan, etc or focus on Space Mt, Splash, etc. Which will be more crowded from EE?

:thumbsup2 Hi we just got back and spent 2 days, splash mountain was down, mr. toads was down--we saw everything in each park in the 2 days and had plenty of time.Toon town was a nightmare.....very crowded.... have fun!

By yourself....cool!

I understood what you meant about the 2 hours at DL (before DCA opens) :)

I need to look at what rides allow for SINGLE riders, as that should factor into your plan for the first two hours at DL (& I guess also for the rest of the trip).

A few initial thoughts:

- Avoid FL on EE morning as it will be mobbed (except for Snow White & IASW) the first 2-3 hours.

- Confirm if Splash is open on your trip.

- I noticed that (2 weeks ago) that EE folks are already in Tomorrowland before rope drop (because Buzz & SM are open). But also there were 2 Rope drops for Frontierland/Adventureland - The EE folks are roped at the Dole Whip stand, (this is where we stood one day when we had EE) AND for the non EE folks way back on Main St.

- Bottom line - Lots (tons) of EE people run directly to Indy & alot are already in line for SM & SM FP.

- Because of this, we nabbed a FP for Indy as opposed to getting in what was a long line.

Not counting single rider lines - I would:

1 - pick up an Indy FP.
2 - Ride Pirates.
3 - Ride HM.
4 - Ride Pooh (or Splash if a Single)
6 - Pick up a FP at Splash (for later that afternoon / evening).
7 - If time permits ride Jungle Cruise or Indy (with your FP)
8 - Pick up a FP at Thurnder Mt. or SM if you haven't picked one up at Splash.
9 - Head on over to DCA

Find out about single rider lines (i know i walked on twice as a single on Cal Screamin' in mid afternoon - zero wait).

Have fun. :thumbsup2

honestly I would not head to DCA till more like 11 0r 12........then first thing get a FP for Soaring, eat some lunch then do the animation building, hollywood, then the rest of the park. I would try and be back at DL after dinner.

Thanks for the great advice! I am finally feeling like I am getting a plan together. :)
I will probably leave the parks around 2 each day since I am not staying anywhere near DL. I am tagging along on my BF's work trip. :rolleyes1 Since it will be a long way back with traffic I want to make it back to have dinner with him. That is why I was going to go to DCA when it opens. I am certainly not trying to see and do everything. I just want to hit the highlights. I am so excited just to be going!
