4 parks in two days...the key to riding all that we wanted to ride was a combo of doing the DVC presentation to get three additional anytime FP per person(some rides excluded), SDFP, and checking the Disney app using refresh. We are a family of 4. Our prebooked FP were initially done at 60 days and then massaged to get to my version of optimal times based on ADRs. Also, our kids love coasters.

Day One: 11/23
Hollywood Studios...PPO at H&V @8:05, signed up for JTA prior to breakfast, walked on to TOT at 9:00am, at 9am got SDFP for the Great Movie Ride (10:50am), Muppets (12:45pm), Star Tours (2:05pm). Used DVC FP #1 to ride the Rock Coaster. Standby for Star Tours. Great Movie Ride using SDFP, snack of frozen lemonade. JTA at 12:10. SDFP for Muppets. Lunch. SDFP for Star Tours.
Bus to Magic Kingdom. 3:25 Space Mountain using prebooked FP, Mickeys Philharmonic Standby, 5:35 7DMT using prebooked FP, Space Mountain using SDFP, Standby Haunted Mansion, dinner at Crystal Palace, 7:55pm Buzz Lightyear using prebooked FP. At this point, we were exhausted and threw in the towel for the day.

Day Two (Thanksgiving):
Epcot EMH rope drop...walked directly to Soarin using Standby line. We had prebooked FP for TT at 9:10, 10:10 Spaceship Earth, 11:10 Mission Space. We got SDFP for 9:35am The Seas Nemo, 10:45 Figment, 11:45 Pixar Short Films. Lunch was at the Biergarten in Germany. As soon as we were done with Mission space, I booked a 4th FP for Everest at AK. We tried to use a DVC FP on TT after lunch but the FP line was long and we had to get to AK. Animal Kingdom: We rode Everest 3 total times, 4th FP, 5th FP and once using a DVC FP. Used a DVC FP for Kilamanjari Safari at 4:30pm. The animals were frisky! We saved our JTA fast pass for Dinosaur but that FP line was very long.

We left a FP on the table but our bus was picking us up at 7pm and we could not squeeze in another ride and dinner.

Thanks to all of you, I feel like we 'won.' We worked the system to squeeze in as much fun as we could stand during a very busy time.

In the past year, we have visited Great Wolf Lodge Sandusky, Legoland FL, Universal Studios FL(both parks), Cedar Point, Atlantis, all 4 Disney Parks and went on 2 Disney Cruises (it was an epic travel year.) Each place is good at something different. The most stressful by far, were the Disney parks. I felt like we were constantly competing for everything at the Disney parks. They required the most research and the most forethought as to how to attack the scheduling. We had a good time but we're done with Disney for some time. The world is big and we are looking forward to exploring something new :)

how would you sign up to participate in the DVC presentation? I am a whole day free before my 2 days at the parks so I would have time for the presentation. how long is the presentation? Thanks!

Presentation was one hour at Disney Springs. I called DVC tel:+1-800-500-3990 to schedule our tour. It was painless and zero pressure.

for the DVC, what are the bonuses of listening to the session other than the 3 extra fast passes?

I'm excited for your trip. I'm glad your trip went well!

We received a gift card as well. Think is was for $50.

IMHO, it might not be worth your time if your park days are not busy. Ours were 10s on the Touring Plan calendar.

would it beneficial to schedule ahead of time or just the day of? I'd like to make sure I get a gift card and the fast passes. Thanks!
