Hi all!

Here's the dilemma: myself, DMIL, DFIL, DBIL, DSIL, DD6, DS4, DD2, DH in a GV OKW in January, 25-31. We are doing DDP.

I have booked Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Dinner for Thursday, Ohanas for Wednesday (655 dinner and hoping to catch Wishes out the windows!) and am planning Hoop De Doo on Tuesday. That leaves 2 TS and Sunday, Monday,Friday left to book. I would like to eat in MK on Monday to see SpectroMagic, as it is only for the same two days as Fantasmic. Sunday is up in the air, we are taking the train and are SUPPOSED to arrive around 11 am, but not counting on it.

Wanted Le Cellier, but found out that they can't seat 9 at one table, and we really want to sit together (We might not by the end of this though :lmao: )
So basically, I need 3 meals and will pay OOP for one.
What would you do and where would you eat?

I suggest the Coral Reef at Epcot.

Also try the Grand FLoridian Cafe. We ate here twice this past August and it was awesome, I highly recommend it. You could have an early dinner here and then catch spectromagic at MK afterwards.

Maybe for the kiddies you could do Crystal Palce as an OOP expense

Crystal Palace is probably a good idea for MK. Tony's is so-so. LTT can be good but I prefer CP. The Plaza is essentially sandwiches and ice cream desserts. It's an OOP option for MK.

For Epcot, Coral Reef would be good. Biergarten is another I like. They have "communal seating" with eight seats per table. It should fit your family well.

For resort dining, Grand Floridian Cafe is a very good single credit location. Kona at the Poly is also good.

I read on a website that Coral Reef next year is going to be a 2 credit ts meal. Just to let you know.

We had a party of 13 at Le Cellier, and they just put us at tables next to each other. It was great.

We also had multiple tables at Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, and Hollywood & vine. And they were awesome about keeping us all together.

The only place that seated 13 together was Askershus in Norway.

So, I say, go ahead and book Le Cellier.

ETA: Biergarten actually has several tables for 10 also. Not just 8.

Not surprised really - we ate there very recently and it was fantastic - get in there now while it's still only one credit.

Coral Reef is definitely my suggestion.

I would not do LeCellier. I have never been, but I understand it is small and dark and there is no "entertainment value", just good food. You have a 2, 4 and 6yo; doesn't seem quite fair to them, no matter how good they can be in restaurants.

Take a look at Boma. You should definitely get everyone to see AKL and that buffet is vast and varied and a casual place to eat. If you decide to book breakfast vs dinner here this would be the meal to pay for OOP: $17A and $10C and the 2yo is free!

The Grand Floridian Cafe might be the place for your arrival night. GF is a wonder at Disney so see that would be fun. You can take the resort bus to MK then hop on the GF Ferry or if you prefer the monorail to get to the hotel.

I forgot to mention: Don't rule out your home resort. There is something to be said for the convenience.
