Life update...
Sorry if I have not been my chatting self this week...it has been a stresssful week at work. This week I am working with middle school teachers on the same numeracy learning I have been doing with elementary school teachers...so I have been off my campus once again and I have had to think about and replan my staff development to fit middle school needs and thinking. I have been HIGHLY STRESSED about how they were going to receive this information, plus the fact it is coming from an elementary person....and they are all MATH PEOPLE DAY IN AND DAY OUT! My stress was totally unfounded, becasue they are eating the information up (it is all about how students develop/learn mathematics) and they are extremely fast learners and make the connections that elementary teachers just don't get...probably because they are strictly math teachers. It has been exciting working with them this week (and I will have 2 more days after Thanksgiving break)! But I am so exhausted...there is so much information in such a short time they I am worn out with the instruction and they are worn out from the learning...I was hoping to just crawl into bed tonight, but Jeff has a republican district meeting tonight (he is a precinct...?spelling? chairman)...so I can't just go to bed and expect the kids to do the same.

I have not gotten a lot of this week's list accomplished...actually NONE of it...:scared1: but I still have tomorrow and Saturday!

We are off to the cabin Tuesday night for a long Thanksgiving week at the cabin. It will be nice to get away and curl up for a few days in front of the fire, maybe a good book, mug of hot chocolate and look at the snow through the big picture window...dreaming of those moments about to happen at Disney.

I hate stressful weeks. (and yes, I am a bit familiar lately) However, going to the cabin for Thanksgiving sounds like a WONDERFUL time. Really, I think I am seriously jealous. ;)

Ann, really? I have a feeling we might end up with at least two rooms if this is a 2013 trip!

Art of Animation has the new "family suites" with a Queen bed, a double sleeper sofa, and two twin sleeper chairs. I have no problem being in a sleeper chair. I sleep in a twin anyway! Plus they have to bathrooms, and I think a kitchenette.

I'm seriously still cracking up about the idea of all of us on a joint PTR. We could start it after were all in the :sad1: months after the new year after we all get back lol!

There is something magical about the parks at night...but with Christmas decorations it makes it even more magical. I LOVE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!

For years, there was a tree lighting ceremony and these lights would periodically through the night display a light show synchronized to music. We were so sad last year when they did not do this. In fact, if memory serves me right, they didn't even have these arch lights. I will have to dig through last year's pictures.

Sautrday's Trivia:
What is the only cartoon created by Walt Disney that had an Easter Theme? What "collection" of cartoons is it found in? What year was this collection released?

Sorry I have been lax on getting trivia posted this week? Not sure what is up with me on this?! :scared1: Maybe I am working on that dang list. I might surprise you this weekend and put up several questions during the day. :thumbsup2

FYI I am going to end this game November 30th...my PTR is going to me just me talking to myself for much of December while you are all gone on your trip and I am waiting to go on mine! Plus starting the 1st I am going to let you experience the trip reveal adven countdown with the kids each day.

Yummmm Blueberry waffles!

Waffles look yummy!

They were very yummy!

I borrowed the waffle maker from a friend of mine...I know she has had it over about 11 years (pre-Boo) because I remember the first time she used with Ab and that was before Boo! Probably vintage now...stalk eBay!

Saturday's Trivia...Question 2:
