Hey all you PTR followers who have managed even to earn 1 point...or will earn 1 point by the time I end this PTR...

PLEASE PM me your mailing address...I have something for you (or I will as soon as the parts get here and I get them made) for reading and playing along...

I have Ann's, Ashley's, and Heather's....

Okay gals...if you have not sent me your address please send it...and for those who have sent it...Knock of the unworthy, you don't have to comments...really it is not much that I am sending you but I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you following along and helping not feel so lonely at times...I cherish the cyper-DIS friendship...although we have never met (I hope to sometime) you have become special in my life...who else would put up with my obessive planning...you may have saved a marriage!

I need...Noelle, Lisa, Thing1, Petals, Laurie, and EastNY

Of course. I love sharing pictures of her. Sorry I have to do more than one though....haha She is 4 months already. I can't believe it. Here you go:

A Disney fan in the making...haha Ok I had rotated the pictures so they would be upright but it isn't working. Sorry.

She is so precious! I miss my Ab being that little...no wait I don't she was grumpy at that age and demanding...wait just like she is right now as a teenager! :rotfl: Enjoy the cuteness now, just wait til she hits about 12...then look back at her baby pictures with fondness!

Yes I found it quite entertaining that he was an American in an English Movie!

As to all the Pizza Planet truck photos, I didn't expect points for those, but when someone posted a "huh" about that I had to show those cause I think that's a very neat fact about Pixar. There is also an "Easter egg" in all the films that forecasts the next movie!

I love HERBIE! The original herbie that is. My favorite is when he gives Herb the Irish Cream and he goes zonkers! Didn't even finish watching the remake with Lindsay.

Hey you went to the work of finding the pictures...receive the credit...in the end everyone gets the same prize (well almost, some that are not going on a Christmas trip aren't getting a Christmas themed one...how is that for making you wonder????:rotfl2:)

I love Herbie too...my favorite is with Donnie & Marie...NOW I AM REALLY DATING MYSELF! I loved Lindsay in Parent Trap...so wish she would have stayed that cute and innocent! What a train wreck she has become. I really wish that the judge would finally make her put her big girl panties on and send her to some hard time!

Haha Yeah I am not looking forward to the teenage years. I keep saying oh I can't wait to get her this or do this with her (like go to Disney World etc.) and then I am like but I want her to stay like this forever...haha I know I am going to miss it. It goes so fast too.

Adorable!!!

Thank you. :) I can't get enough of her...haha

I can't wait to ride this one! I so love rollar coasters and I am so glad that it is tame enough for Goo to go on (we have already started telling him which rides that he can't ride so that we don't have melt downs in the baby swap area...FJ at WWofHP is going to be the worst for him..

Did you know that EE is the tallest of all the mountains in Florida?

Some HIDDEN MAGIC INFORMATION ABOUT EE...
*Totems in front of EE were hand created by Nelpalese woodworkers...they are the real deal.
*Look closely at the height ruler...it says that youngsters must be 1 yeti-foot high to ride.
*You will notice lots of red used throughout Serka Zong...buildings, statues, signs...red is considered a color of protection.
*Look for the Napalese Coke bottles scattered throughout and the famous white lettering on red background...can you guess the sponsor of this ride?
*If you do catch a glimpse of the yeti...check out his toes...he actually has dirt on them.

TIPS
The Yeti!"
Submitted on Mar 06, 2011 by Macca250
In the final cave sequence you come to face to face with the Yeti himself...however, currently the Yeti is accompanied by strobe lighting and you may only get a brief glimpse if you weren't paying attention. As you enter the last cave, make sure you look up, and don't miss him!

"Use the standby queue on a first ride"
Submitted on Jan 18, 2010 by wdwmagic
The standby line has a lot of detail and some important storyline details that are not part of the FASTPASS line. If it's your first ride, or if you have not been through the standby line before, try it.

"Try different rows for a different ride"
Submitted on Jan 18, 2010 by wdwmagic
Like many coasters, Everest has a different feel and sight-line in different rows. The front row gives a stunning view at the summit and a lot of speed in the reverse sections. The back row gives a lot of speed on the drops, a lot of G in the reverse section, but doesn't offer such a good view at the summit. The middle gives a little of both. My tip - try different rows - you can request the front or back.

Yes it makes me wonder! I have to come up with something... but I'm thinking I might make them and bring them when we meet up and leave yours for you at the hotel. What's the joy of being a massage therapist that can make yummy bath products without sharing them with friends? But those are a bit to mail lol!

A judge put her daddy in his place and gave him jail time with no bail for breaking a restraining order for the 3rd time! She needs to be Lindsay's judge. I agree she was awesome in Parent Trap. Mom and I agree she was better than Hayley Mills.

Not sure where that bread pudding comes from...it just looked so yummy and made me sad thinking of my grandmother. Do you think it would be okay to make an ADR for an afternoon and sneak into Raglan Road for some?

I am sure you could make an ADR for RR and then just get bread pudding.

It is pretty good... :goodvibes

I love EE! I am always confused though, about why the track is torn up BEFORE you get to the Yeti. I may be simple, but I don't follow that reverse story line.

I think you can eat bread pudding at the bar at Raglan Road without an ADR. I'd check on that.

You two are such enablers...:rotfl2: I am sure I could drag Jeff in for a beer, but what do we do with the kids!

I just clicked on Ridemax....and JANUARY DATES are now working! On a bad note...I just took a melatonin...doesn't look like I can plan our days all night!

Did you have to do that Tink? :rotfl2: I am trying so hard to be so good for the next 6 weeks...photo pass, photo pass...I keep reminding myself when I am tempted! I am giving myself the okay to have fun with food on our trip...I figure Ab and I will probably be splitting most of the DxDp meals that are non buffet...she eats like a bird!

Which full length animated feature did Walt Disney originally consider having as a Live Action Film with who haveing the lead role? Why would this casting seem odd or strange?

Tuesday's Trivia:
What town is the setting for the Disney Movie "The Love Bug?" What is the name and number of the Love Bug? How many Love Bug movies were there? Can you name them?

I am really showing my age with this one...I remember seeing the Love Bug! YIKES!!!! :scared1:

San Francisco! Herbie is distinguished by red, white and blue racing stripes from front to back bumper, a racing-style number "53" on the front trunk lid, doors, and engine lid, and a yellow-on-black '63 California license plate that says, "OFP 857". One exception to this is his introduction in The Love Bug, where he initially appears as a nondescript white vehicle with a gray colored fabric sunroof (a.k.a. "ragtop"), the style of sunroof offered on VW Beetles made through 1963.Four theatrical sequels followed: Herbie Rides Again, Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, Herbie Goes Bananas, and Herbie: Fully Loaded. Some parts of the racing sequences from The Love Bug were later reused for Herbie's dream sequence in Herbie Rides Again, responding to Grandma Steinmetz's telling Willoughby Whitfield that Herbie used to be a famous racecar.
A five-episode TV series, Herbie the Matchmaker, aired on CBS in the United States in the spring 1982. In 1997, there was a made-for-television sequel which included a Dean Jones cameo, tying it to the previous films. The latest entry Herbie: Fully Loaded, was released on June 22, 2005, by Walt Disney Pictures.

I am trying to catch up! And to tell you the truth I have never seen this movie! I need to tough they have the car at the hotel I think!

39. Parades

100_0785.jpg

I have to admit that I am torn on this one...I love a parade and seeing my favorite characters, but I also want to spend that time while everyone is caught up in the parade taking advantage of smaller ride lines. I do know for certain we will do the AK Jingle Parade...I read some suggestions for it on easywdw and I am going to follow their plan...right before the parade starts about 3:30 pm head into the trail in Africa and enjoy the animals while everyone is getting spots in Africa for the start of the parade...then about 4:00 pm come out the of the trail and get a spot in Africa because the parade both starts and ends in Africa...most people follow the parade out of Africa and basically deserted at the end of the parade...no jockeying for position on the curb and waiting forever...instead enjoy the low crowd on the trail and then watching the parade!
We will do the electrical light parade, only because we will need to jockey for a spot in the hub near where Tink flies. Last time I had such a bad experience we were about 2 people deep for the parade and had been waiting there for over an our when right before the parade a woman and her sends her preteen-teen girls to crowd in front of us then eventually they crowd out the family what had been camped out on the curb before us. Talk about rude...had it been little children I would have had no problem letting them in front of me...or if they even asked...but just to crowd a family out! GRRRR. I was disappointed in the Electric Light Parade...
I did enjoy the afternoon parade in MK...we sat off the main route on the liberty side area of the castle...it was perfect we watched the floats and characters pass over the bridge without people blocking our view!

I just clicked on Ridemax....and JANUARY DATES are now working! On a bad note...I just took a melatonin...doesn't look like I can plan our days all night!

I hope that you get to them tonight! I am planning on cleaning up the kitchen after checking my emails and working on Disney products until K gets home form his side job! And just think you have a few weeks to work on them still!

Did you have to do that Tink? :rotfl2: I am trying so hard to be so good for the next 6 weeks...photo pass, photo pass...I keep reminding myself when I am tempted! Oh I know that looked SO GOOD! Yumm!! You can do it Tammie! You can do it!

Thank you for all of the points though!

Tammie since everyone reads your or Ann's PTR's the most, I'm going to post this on yours.

WARNING: FDM :teacher::teacher::teacher:

Ok I did these numbers with arriving on a Thursday evening in October and leaving out on Sunday evening. (These are not including plane tix or F&W Tix. Maybe we can luck out and we can do a free dining period!)

First set of numbers are done with a 4 day hopper.
Art of Animation - 6 ladies per room - 485 per person
Pop - 4 ladies per room - 434 pp
Pop - 2 ladies per room - 516 pp
ASM - 6 ladies per room - 460 pp

There was like a 15ish $ difference to go from 4 day hopper tix to 3 day, so I'm not rewriting the numbers :).

2nd set of numbers are done with a 2 day hopper. (for Friday and Saturday).
Art of Animation - 6 ladies per room - 407 per person
Pop - 4 ladies per room - 354 pp
Pop - 2 ladies per room - 436 pp
ASM - 6 ladies per room - 380 pp

I'm personally on board for whatever. If this trip is in 2013, I think we'll all know either other well enough that no one should have a problem sharing a bed or sleeper sofa! :grouphug::rotfl:
