Which would you pick, and why?

We're going in June. Our family, 2 adults 2 kids, (11 & 15), plus my sis and her hubby.

I know there's pro's and con's to each, but, I'd like to hear some opinions.

I'd pick BCV if we wanted a busier vacation --- busy (but wonderful) SAB, distance to epcot and MGM, boardwalk. OKW would be a more relaxing vacation.

I'm not sure I want to stay at OKW without a car.

We just got back from OKW, and while it was nice, I missed the EPCOT area. If you like the ability to walk to EPCOT and MGM, pick Beach Club. They have a great pool there, too.

The good things about OKW are the rooms are much bigger than BCV, the pool area is nice, (but no Storm-Along Bay), it's quiet there, and the bus service was good. These are just my opinions.

Are you trying to decide between locations or between the 2 bedroom units themselves? If you are asking about the 2 bedroom units themselves, the OKW 2 bedrooms are much more like a house than the BCV units. At OKW there will be larger rooms, larger balcony, larger kitchen, full size laundry room, larger Jacuzzi, etc. etc,. If you like to walk to parks instead of taking a bus and you want to be in Epcot most of the time, then BCV would be the best choice.

I'm not sure I want to stay at OKW without a car.
We feel having a car is just simply an added "plus" at OKW because of the ability to park right outside your door. But if you don't have one, the bus service there is good. We've never had a problem and we've stayed at OKW both with and without a car.
If you plan to do most of your park time in Epcot and around the boardwalk area, then I'd go with BCV. Also, Stormalong Bay is the biggest pool on property---it's like a mini water park for lack of a better description. Also, if you're planning on dining out alot, alot will push for BCV because of BW dining options (Spoodles, Flying Fish, Cape May Cafe, as well as Epcot restaurants). OKW has Olivia's and then there are many dining options at nearby DD. There's a nice scenic boat ride that will take you there.
You mentioned your family of 4 plus sis and her dh. That's 6 people. Are you planning on gettting 2 studios/villas ? Staying in a 2 bedroom ? If you're planning on the 2 bedroom, I'd def go with OKW for the extra size. I think with the amount of people and the ages, a 2 bedroom at BCV might be a little more cramped ? Not sure what your plans are there.

This is the toughest decision we make each year. We own at OKW and I love the larger rooms and the lay-back feel. The flip side is that we equally like the Boardwalk area. We usually split the difference and stay about a week in each resort. If I had to narrow it down to one, I'd probably stick to OKW.
