We are considering changing our resort for our New Years Eve trip with the kiddos.
I am looking at the room descriptions right now on the disney site and for BWV it says: These villas offer a view of the Resort hotel or the parking lot.
Ummmm...what do they mean by resort hotel? Anybody know?

On the BCV, there is no room view description........anybody have any idea where the 2 bdrm villas are located? What the view may be?

Thanks for any info!!!

do you have young kids?

then would go with BCV - 2-bedroom dedicated. It has some views of the backside of Epcot, its pool, parking lot, bc.

bwv preferred views has views of the lagoon going to Studios, d & S.

only the BW views has views of the YC & BC.

the standard view has parking lot & drive way to BW hotel views.

forgot - the 2-bedrooms at BW are all lock out - so that is a 1-bedroom and studio, with smaller kids don't want them to get out in the main halls.

I would also pick Beach Club! It is a beautiful resort with some benefits above Boardwalk, I believe. Both are in the same wonderful area and both have easy access to Epcot, Hollywood Studios and a ton of restaurants and activities. From either resort it is easy to walk or catch a boat across the lake to the other. My family prefers Beach Club, however, because of Stormalong Bay. That whole pool area is really very special. We also love the beautiful grounds and lobby of Beach Club.

The Villas were added well after Beach Club was built and are all in one large, oddly-shaped building just alongside the main hotel. There is a covered walkway leading to the one end of the lobby from the Villas. Views are hard to pin down as the building twists and turns so much that there are many different views and the 2-bedroom units are scattered all over. If you make a room request you might ask for "quiet pool view" (which is lovely, especially at night when it's lit up like a carnival) or "close to lobby" as the farthest rooms out can be quite a hike. Beach Club has a great little food and snack market called Marketplace. You can buy drinks and even some prepared foods. Try the homemade gelato -- it's delicious! And keep an eye out for one of WDW's true gems -- Art, the wonderful gentleman who works as a greeter at the lobby entrance and who has worked at the resort for years.

Have fun!
