I am soo happy and so proud of myself - just busting at the seams to tell everyone I know!!!!
I was really worked up about these 2 assignments as I left it really late to finish them off plus I was working in pairs on them - always reluctant to share.
The first one was business operations which involved marketing and economics, basically doing the P&L and balance sheets, Margins etc and also Rates of returns - blah blah blah. We also had to do a couple of essays on our predictions for the company in the case study and defining the marketing strategy and how to improve it. I was majorly worried as my partner went to the US over Xmas and she was supposed to do al the marketing whilst I did the economics. Anyway to cut a long story short - she got sick so I ended up doing most of it the day before it was due.
The second one was Tourism geography - we had to make a virtual logbook of a fictional voyage around the world, visiting 5 destinations in each of the continents - involved budgets, currency transactions, accomodation, transport etc. etc. and keep within the £5100 budget per person - Our journey took us 9 months and we came back with over £2000!!! Then we also had to do an essay in the syle of a travel writer - I based this on my TR for Australia.
Anyway - drum roll..brrrbrrrbrr !!!!!! DISTINCTION + !!!!!!!!
Only the highest mark I could get - wahaay - I need a humoungous Baileys now to celebrate
