Can you book a studio for 2 adults and 3 kids (8, 5, and 2) at Jambo House?

I have no idea if they restrict the number of people in a room?

The first child under the age of three does not count towards occupancy.

The DO restrict occupancy. It's 4, plus one child under 3. So you are OK for now, but would need a 1 bedroom after that.

I guess they would make you get the bigger room if they find out but don't think they are very strict checking.

Really....they would kick you out....

Since it's a fire code violation, they're certainly well within their rights to do so. Even without a violation....they own the property, they set the rules.

I've read reports of guests being told to pack and get out. I have no idea how frequently guests are evicted; all I can say is some people have gotten away with it, some haven't. It's a gamble, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

There are other practical considerations. Guests who are not on the reservation will not be allowed to board the DME bus, so extra guests would have to find (and pay for) their own transportation to the resort. Guests who are not on the reservation will not be able to enter the parks for morning EMH, or enter rides or attractions for evening EMH. There also may be issues at the resort pool....some resorts check ID in the pool area.

So not worth it.

Since the OP has her answer, I'm going to close this thread.

Anyone interested in discussing occupancy policy may do so ind the Occupancy Thread.
