How long will the HKDL stuff be out do we think?
I hope only during the week end -_- and that is already too much for meHow long will the HKDL stuff be out do we think?
I think VMK has finally got it! It seems most likely they are releasing things people most want! W00t!
Comparing a virtual pin to a Harvard degree? I don't get it.
I can understand if this was a pay as you pay game. Or something like Second Life that works with currency. I don't think VMK's goal is to make it difficult to pay for newbies.
The comparison is to hard work.
Should everything in life be easy and simple for everyone to have or should there be a few things in life you have to actually work for? Like a Harvard degree.

Bingo. I totally agree. I've tried buying things I thought would be valuable, but it's never worked out right. Now I just buy what I like.I think the moral of this is just buy what you want, because you like it. If it gets a high trading value somewhere along the line, enjoy that while you can. For every "rare" item I've had that was rereleased, there's usually another one that gains in value just from sitting there. It all tends to even out in the end.
I will explain again. It's an analogy. You work hard for a goal. You study. You learn. You earn something. Then it is given to everyone, no effort required.Well, I don't have a Harvard degree, and what that has to do with trading virtual items is beyond me,
Congrats If you are lending out your VMK crystal ball, I would love to borrow it.but I did know when the time was right to trade my 'rare' for items I wanted and did quite well.
That's the thing...I am glad the older items have returned, it should curb some of the ridiculously high number of scams and cheats.
Exactly. If you wanted a stitch hat, for example, a red HKDL shirt or a white castle is no longer an item that can help you get there. Therefore, that stitch hat has gone up in value and the mix of items that can help someone attain it has decreased, making the not-released items even MORE unattainable than previously.Unfortunately, things that they don't rerelease becomes near impossible to get with the other things that are rereleased.

As for how long the HKDL items will be available, it's anyone's guess. Buy what you can when you first see them, they may be gone come Monday, or may stay forever. VMK never lets us know.
So should Harvard just walk door to door and give our free degrees to everyone because people want it, irregardless of those who have worked very hard to earn theirs?
Some things take work to have, but apparently not anymore. Now, it's "let's punish those who have worked hard to climb the mountain."
Wow it's just an ITEM on a virtual GAME, I traded a princess minnie for a green flip hat the next day green flip sold
Did I complain
NO
How old are you? I'm a kid and I don't complain this bad over a few rare items of mines selling, I had that poster and pin and I think I still have my red shirt, but do I complain no I do not.
Ok I hope you understand that this is A GAME not something to get all upset when you lose the rarity of an ITEM.

People that try to cheat others will continue to do so. Sadly. People that fall prey to cheats will continue to do so, sadly.
The REALLY vmk wealthy will easily recover from releases like this. For those (such as myself) who were JUST starting to be able to enter bigger trades after working, studying, and learning values and trading, the re-release of one such item is devastating.
There was no work involved in acquiring things, no studying, no earning. Most of the people who have the items you think are valuable were simply lucky enough to be playing at the time they were released. No education required.
Sorry, Dreams. We will have to just agree to disagree on this. It's all luck, very little skill. I happened to be playing the days those re-released items first came out.
