Okay here is my dilemma, after years of getting close to my goal and then gaining a few pounds and then losing again I am finally very close to my goal.
I've lost nearly 90 pounds on WW and I am very happy with the program.
On 5/21 we leave for WDW and then a 4 night cruise on the Dream :scared1:
Would you work to get to your goal before you leave...2 meetings before we leave. Or should I hold back a bit, hoping that after the cruise and WDW that I will meet my goal once I go to my meeting the week following my vacation?

Congrats on your weight loss success! If it were me, I would totally go for goal. You are so close and it's doable in 2 weeks. I think it would be awesome to get to goal and celebrate on vacation. It's not impossible to maintain on vacation, but it does call for a bit of planning. When I'm at Disney I make sure to get some cardio in most days. Even though you will walk around a lot, it doesn't have as high of a calorie burn as it feels. I also ask for double veggies and no starch with table service meals. Whatever you do though, have a great time!!

CONGRATULATIONS!

I would go for it too -- how awesome to leave for vacation knowing you made goal!

Thanks, for the help. I am total agreement with you both and have been working hard to get these last 2.2 pounds off. Of course this past week I only lost .2 but I am hoping to get to goal before I go. Fingers crossed.
I always take my Leslie Sansone Walk away the pounds DVD with me to WDW, I try to get in at least 2 miles each morning before I head out to the parks.
While we are on the cruise I will walk in the morning and evenings so that I can enjoy some of the food. My WW leader suggested avoiding the buffets on board as much as possible, doing sit down meals for breakfast and lunch if possible as you have a tendency to load up more on the buffets.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: That's fantastic!! I don't know you but I'm VERY proud of you! :thumbsup2 I'm glad to hear you're going for the goal. Have a BLAST on vacation!! Goal or not, it will be a celebration of all your hard work!

Congratulations on your accomplishments - 90 pounds is quite an achievement. Reaching your goal either before or after your vacation will be a milestone for you - keep doing what you have been doing (I wouldn't hold back) - I wouldn't worry about it too much - you will get there either way!

Enjoy your trip - we'll be on the Dream in November!

:sad2: I weighed in this evening and I've lost another pound, but this was not good enough to reach my goal before heading off to WDW. I generally weigh in on Saturday mornings so I probably would have been really close to my goal had we not been leaving this Saturday.
This just gives me more resolve to stay on track while I am in WDW and on our cruise. I know that I can enjoy myself but I will keep portion control in mind and I will eat alot of fruits and veggies to keep myself satisfied.
