2~2~12* Dream a Little Dream With Us!

Lol! I'm either overly anxious or a bad typist! Or both! hahaha!
That's okay - lol. DCL's site is even off by a day. They show it as 11 days left, but then, they showed 120 days when it was the day BEFORE the 120 day mark. I couldn't make a Palo res until THEIR countdown said 119. Same for my April cruise.

So let's see - - a week from next Thursday. That sounds good! :dance3:

As long as we show up on the correct date, and they sail away on the correct date -then all is good!

Am I packed yet? (joke between taswira and I)

I feel like I should be packed, but I have not even started. I do have a pile. Plan to keep piling it up and then take the advice to remove half of it. It's only 3 days, right? Biggest thing I'm having trouble with is the shoes. Want to bring as few as possible.

Do folks ever wear dresses to the regular dining rooms?

I'm also not done putting FE gifts together. That's another pile all over the dining room table. Will attack it on Tuesday (I only work MWF).

Still waiting on my VGT room assignment. I assume those who have gotten it saw it when they logged in.

I can't imagine waiting months to know I have only been waiting 4 days:rotfl:

Is there a cruise meet planned for the embarkation day?

Been off the boards a couple days but scanned through and didn't see a response yet to WDWKevin.

Are we going to have a meet up post-muster drill on embarkation day? We've also got a roll call over on the Cruise Critic boards with a few folks there too.

I received my room assignment today a 4B on deck 8, I am very happy with that. We only have 7 days till we head down to Orlando can't wait.:goodvibes

Hello everyone!
My husband and I will be on this cruise with our 15 month old baby girl. Very excited, this is our first cruise. Does anyone have any tips or advice, packing advice or anything about cruising with a baby?
Also, has anyone or is anyone staying in Orlando the night before in a non-Disney resort hotel and having to arrange their own rides to Port Canaveral?

May I suggest a 2:30pm meet and greet at "Bon Voyage" located on Deck 3 in the main atrium?

I am looking forward to meeting some folks from on here since I am traveling alone.

Kevin

My Stateroom: 10076

Not too sure how much of a meet and greet we would be able to do as we are with our DD4 and DS2. They are far too active.:dance3::dance3:
What exactly happens at a meet and greet?

In the past, the folks from the thread get together and just say hi. Its kinda nice to "know" people on board.

On my last cruise, we ended up oversleeping and showed up to the port late! We managed to miss the whole meet :lmao:

Speaking of GTY, for some reason, my room was changed to GTY on our reservation. :scared1: This is kind of annoying because of the FE and we have no idea where we're at now  I wanna know!

Holly (ThePhantomsGirl) and I will probably not get to the Bon Voyage meet 'n' greet. We have the Concierge meet, then lunch, then want to shoot pics of the Cat. T before settling in, then will probably wander around to shoot some more pics before the ship fills with guests. But I'm sure we'll eventually run into most from this thread.

I look like my av photo but without the captain's cap - lol. Holly has her photo in her sig. We may or may not bring Duffy or Shellie Mae (no flames on this thread, please). If so, even easier to spot. :rotfl2:

It's tough on the short cruises, especially on a new ship! But like taswira says, we'll probably bump into people from here!

BTW, we are now in single digits. :woohoo:

Double surprise....looks like we ARE taking the DD's on the cruise with us! Happy Birthday to me.........at least I get dinner at Palo with my DH.

Anyone else on the thread bringing their tweens?

yup! We are bringing our 11yo and 14yo sons... :scared1:

We got our new room number today for anyone doing the FE. Its 8640, which looks like a 4B. Major upgrade from 6B! :)

Less than 30 rooms available for our cruise. We are 97.7% booked currently so I would expect we'll be packed in tight!

And there I was hoping it would just be our little gang here.
