2~2~12* Dream a Little Dream With Us!

Only 148 days until sailing. Hmmm . . Will this be a really empty cruise? :boat:

Maybe all that worry about crowds is unfounded. :rotfl2:

Hi all. My wife (Kristin) and I just booked this sailing along with 2/2 for a 7d B2B. Have done several cruises, but this will be our first Disney cruise.

Have talked about doing it for a long time. Friends always seem surprised that we love Disney and love cruising but have never done a Disney cruise. After this we can finally stop all of that.

Went to D23 Expo, and came home with the itch to finally get over our sticker shock and pull the trigger.

Holly - I think this one will be their 2nd - the last half of their B2B. I'm thinking his wife posted on another board about it. Virtual (magical) porthole also.

Right, Ladewig? :cool1:

Holly - I didn't know if you had seen his wife's post on CC. Scott wrote "just booked this sailing along with 2/2 for a 7d B2B" here, but apparently their "first" Disney cruise will be January 29th. When you welcomed them to their first Disney cruise, I got the impression you thought this one (2/2) was the first of his two consecutive. You know I'm a perfectionist! My bad. :o

So to Scott & Kristin (from me!), :welcome: to your SECOND Disney cruise!

BTW - I wouldn't want DCL to count B2B's as only ONE cruise! Yikes! That would ruin a lot of Castaway Club status!

Yes, this sailing will technically be our 2nd Disney cruise. Was just referring to them collectively. :)
LOL - Afterward you'll definitely think of them as not just B2B but TWO cruises towards higher Castaway Club status! So by the time you sail with US, you'll already be Castaway Club members! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Just booked today sooooo excited sailed the dream on 7/29 and it was amazing, we just couldn't stay away. This is going to be a surprise birthday present for 2 of my three kids DS turns seven on 1/11 and dd turns 4 on 2/5. We are not going to tell them til my son's birthday its going to be hard to keep that secret. We got two connecting 8c rooms on deck 7 forward. More space and cheaper than the 5 person veranda.

:thumbsup2 Wow, we are actually gaining people on this thread.

Welcome to you and your family PrincessCinderella. :cheer2:

It looks like my friend booked in the cabin next door to me (ThePhantomsGirl) will be canceling. I'll be totally solo. I specify that instead of single because I am married but sailing by myself.

Since I am Platinum, last night I was able to book Palo dinner. For various reasons, I chose 6 pm on Friday (Nassau day). Right now I don't think this thread has any other solo cruisers, but if we happen to get one who would like to dine at Palo but is unable to get a reservation, please PM me if you would like to join me for dinner that evening. Since the smallest tables are for two, there is never a problem adding a second person. It would mean an available spot for you at Palo, and I wouldn't be stared at for dining alone. :rotfl2:

Well, I did some serious thinking this morning and upgraded from my Cat. 11A virtual porthole room to a Cat. V Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, on Deck 12. And yes, I am still traveling solo, but that contributed to my decision.

I still have Palo dinner booked for early the second night. :)

Eeeeep!!!!!! So ready for my first cruise!!!! Only a few more months and I'll be living it up Disney style AND celebrating my sweet sixteen. :cheer2:
