Hi there!! This will be our very 1st Disney Cruise & I can not wait! My husband & I will be traveling with our 2 daughters (ages 4 & 8). This vacation is still a surprise for our kids, which we plan to tell them about at Xmas!

My parents surprised me with a vacation one year for Christmas. I will never forget opening my gifts that year. My stocking was filled with sunglasses, and sunscreen... my "big" present was a suitcase filled with summer goodies (very odd for christmas in chicago)... and after I thought they had completely lost it, they explained that I was going to Florida! I thionk I was 8 then- but I will never forget that!!

Help! I'm already stressing about what to wear on our cruise. I'm thinking Feb isn't going to be hot, but should be warm (like in the 70's) right? All of the summer stuff is on clearance now, so I want to buy what I can now because once Jan/Feb rolls around the only thing available in our stores is winter coats & boots, not swimming suits & flip flops. So my question is, what is typical cruise attire? And what about the temperature in the restaurants on board? Am I going to be freezing if I wear a sun dress to dinner? Thanks for your help. Not sure why I'm worrying about this already.....

ha! I've been thinking about this too. In fact, I just got a new bathing suit. I figure some capris will be good. I was in Florida this last February and it was 50 degrees in Tampa!! We were frozen!! Hopefully, it will be back to "normal"- whatever that is!! 70's work for me!! I live near Chicago- so anything above 0 works for me in the winter!!!

You can't really judge Florida winters by the one we just had. They tell us that it was the coldest in about 70 years. Usually it is quite nice in February.

When my parents went on the Oasis in January out of Ft Lauderdale, it was 45 degrees when they were waiting to get on the ship. My Mom called me from the port and said "I didn't realize I was going to Alaska!"

I have been reading the posts but hadn't joined until recently. We will be on this cruise with friends and their family. No kids along for us so will have to enjoy our friends grandkids. Looking forward to our first Disney Cruise and and a week at Disney World afterward. Started a thread over on Cruise Critic but not many joiners there. Donna has been added as a friend on Facebook so I think we have all the bases covered for now.

Today we have only 209 days left! I do not know about you all but I am getting fairly excited .... at least as excited as I am capable of. I hope that we will start to talk about ourselves and our plans for this new cruise experience.

Hello Disers!!

I'm getting soooo excited about this trip... and I think my hubby is feeling bad that we are not taking the kids on this one with us (it's our anniversary treat) that he wants to do a road trip to disney in December 2010!! And of course, I said that if we planned a December road trip, that we must also plan for a Not so Scary trip in October 2011 (my FAVORITE thing to do in disney) so that we could properly get some use out of our annual passes!!

I've got disney on the mind today!! Woohoo!!!

Sorry guys we are bowing out, we are going to cruise the Mexican Riviera on the same dates with my cousins from Ohio. I hope you guys have an AWESOME cruise.
