Hello South Dakota & welcome to the DisBoards!!:woohoo::dance3:

You are going to LOVE cruising with Disney & your kids??? :cheer2: They're gonna freak!!

I agree, I would have prefferd a longer cruise too:cool1:.

This will be our shortest cruise! :confused3 Our longest has been 14 days (twice). I would have liked a longer cruise but chose this because of the Dream. It may or may not be our last one this short ... we'll see.

We need a Facebook page also. :surfweb:

If you're on Facebook then look up this group. Click to join and then I will add you. Invite anyone just let me know you invited them and I will add them as well. :surfweb:

Diisney Dream February 13, 2011 cruise

Yes, I misspelled Disney. :rolleyes1

I am beginning to get excited about this cruise. First cruise on a different ship (9 on the Magic) and one of the first on a brand new ship. :goodvibes

Hi everyone!
We are so excited to be going on this cruise! It will be me, hubby, dd (6) and ds (turning 2 right after our trip). This is our first cruise with the little ones and of course we are thrilled to be on the new ship.
Is anyone planning on fish extenders for the little ones? :cheer2:

Help! I'm already stressing about what to wear on our cruise. I'm thinking Feb isn't going to be hot, but should be warm (like in the 70's) right? All of the summer stuff is on clearance now, so I want to buy what I can now because once Jan/Feb rolls around the only thing available in our stores is winter coats & boots, not swimming suits & flip flops. So my question is, what is typical cruise attire? And what about the temperature in the restaurants on board? Am I going to be freezing if I wear a sun dress to dinner? Thanks for your help. Not sure why I'm worrying about this already.....

There is a 'roll call' for our cruise on CruiseCritic.com. Not a ton of people, but a small friendly group like this one. Do you want me to post the Facebook link over there? I know at least one or two are not on DISboards.

:thumbsup2 Yes, please.

I find temperature to be relative .... my DW is always cold and I like it cooler than most. :confused3 If you are like my DW then plan on at least a light sweater.

The weather can be cool or it can be warm .... welcome to this latitude! I plan on wearing a suit for most of the evening meals (same jacket, two pants and a different shirt/tie). I do not plan on taking a lot of clothes for such a short trip so most everything else will be casual.

This is our first Dinsey cruise so we are totally on board with doing the fish extenders! Our DD will be 5 when we sail.

:thumbsup2 Most definitely! Count us in.
