Several FE projects in the works....been a busy holiday vacation already hoping to get more accomplished over the next few days, oh and at some point finish laundry, clean up the house(again), and work on finding our spring/summer things in my recently flooded basement. I'm tired just thinking about it!

Just finished making our first FE. Much easier than we thought, and a lot of fun. Working on a few FE gifts now

Are you joining the FE? I can put up the list again later tonight of who we have already. I am going to pick a date around the middle of this month to make a cut off date. This will give us time to finish up our gifts. I am also going on the cruise prior to this one so I will have to make sure I have time. The meet and greet will be on embarkation day at 3 pm at the promenade lounge. This will give us an hour to chat before the life boat drill. I can't wait to meet everyone!

I'm good with either date. Since you are doing all the work for the list and have a bigger time constraint, it's fair that you pick the cut off.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone too! Can't wait to get my first Conch Cooler of the cruise with y'all! Yummmmm.....

Is there any reason that anyone can't get a bit of chocolate for their FE?

I would hate to give an FE to someone that can't enjoy it... but I have a cute Sweetheart FE idea...

I would hate to give an FE to someone that can't enjoy it... but I have a cute Sweetheart FE idea...

Anyone in my family can have chocolate with the exception of me unless it is peanut and tree nut free

We got our passports yesterday... I was like a little kid on Christmas morning lol. Dh still hasn't gotten his, didn't have the long form bc so he's working on that today. Sent the initial paperwork in dec 22 and did pay for expediting although many people are saying we didn't need to, I'd rather be safe than sorry!

Is it necessary to have a passport? I thought that a valid drivers license and your birth certificate were all you need if your from the US. Does anyone know if I am right?

You do not need a passport as long as you leave from a US port and return to the same port.

I'm being cautious with the passports. On our first cruise I need up with sun poisoning and should have been sent home, but it was a 3 day cruise and I wasn't going to aid to get sent home. On the last cruise my youngest walked into a railing and continued to have his nose rupture all night..should have been sent to a local hospital and we would have had to get a flight home..not taking chances this time.

We are flying to FLL the day before the cruise and staying at BEST WESTERN Hollywood/North Miami - Hallandale Beach for 65.00 taxes in, including continental breakfast the day of the cruise. This was obtained via hotwire and I think it's still available.

On our way back, we are checking a 3* on the same area with full breakfast for around 120.00 a day. As it is hotwire, we don't know the hotel name yet, but we believe to be either Holiday Inn Express or Staybridge Suites, both with good reviews.

I'll likely book the hotel soon and confirm the name.

We booked the hotel for our stay AFTER the cruise.
Got 3 nights on the Holiday Inn Express Fort Lauderdale (Plantation) for 100.00 a night, including free hot breakfast.
we are staying 3 nights and flying back to Canada at 6:00 AM on the 19th, from Fort Lauderdale.

I did a lenghty review on our first and only cruise with Carnival.

We thought Paradise Beach was a pretty good beach day and will be repeating it on the wonder cruise..

No problems with Chocolate with my Family. I'm sure it would be very well received.
