1st week of june waits

Hi I was wondering what the waits for the parks are in the 1st week of june. Im going to islands of adventure Friday june 2nd and universal studios monday june 5th? Please respond if you know

During your visit dates, the parks are open froom 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. I think it will be fairly busy.

so if the park is open for a large amount of hours then the park will be really busy? Anybody else have an opinion

Expect crowds. Kids are starting to get out of school and families are taking vacations. Orange county FL schools are done May 23rd, so you will also have FL residents with kids at the parks. We are going in June also, and while I would prefer to have no crowds, that is just a fact you have to deal with when you go in the summertime. Don't let it bug you, just get there early, take a break in the afternoon and enjoy your vacation. A day at universal with crowds is better than not being there at all! Plus, with the parks open late you have more hours to see all the attractions.

Plus it's Gay Week (I'm not being prejudiced; several of my friends have chosen that sort of lifestyle and I'm happy for them), which will add to the park capacity. I'm not sure if this will have an impact on UO, but WDW usually has mass amounts of people at their parks around that time.

I will be down there from June 2 to June 7, going to Magic Kingdom, Sea World and USF, so I'm guessing I'll be caught in the crowds too.

yeah but there are never a great amont of waits during weekdays before mid-june and the gay people ceremonies are part of disney not universal

I thought they (the gay people ceremonies) extended to all Orlando parks, not just WDW? Oh well, I'll admit I'm wrong.

Usually,the Saturday,this year June 3rd is Gay Day @ Univeral. There are 2 groups-Gay Days and Gay Day. Both have different schedules. We're @ both parks this time every year and don't notice significant crowds except for MK on the last day, which this year is June 4.

You are right. We have been there and its been held at IOA and they took over the HRC afterwards, it was so crowded. I remember reading that Seaworld is one of the parks this year too.

Not trying to be mean or anything, why is there a gay week any way? If everyone is the same..then why so certain groups get to have special weeks, days, or months..doesn't seem fair to me. I mean is there an African American (sexy) female week? Cause if there is that's the week I'm going

Well it's not officially sponsored by Disney or any of the parks they visit. It's done by gay people. So if all you sexy African American females got together and decided the days, you could make it happen! Even though.. I'm sure we'd love you at Gay Days.. lol
