We will be going down the first week of June, and I now know that it will also be when GayDays is (no problem with that at all!), but I am wondering if anyone knows if that makes a noticeable jump in park attendance/crowds?

We go that time of year...every year and the only time we have noticed a huge jump is that Saturday at the MK. You may want to avoid MK that day if you can. Otherwise everything is fine. :)

As long as you avoid the Magic Kingdom on Saturday, June 5th, you shouldn't worry about the increased crowds due to Gay Days. Pleasure Island is also a lot busier that weekend. We went the first week in June last year, and with a well-thought-out plan, the crowds didn't pose a problem.

Hope you have a great trip! We will be down there the first week of June also!

Just avoid the designated park of the day for Gay Days and you will be fine. The first Saturday at the MK will be a nightmare, so definitely avoid that! Also, as a previous poster mentioned, Pleasure Island will be busier that weekend.

We are going the first 2 weeks of June and the weekend of June 4-7 we are staying at the RPR at Universal. I really dont want to hit the weekend crowds at Disney and we always stay at Universal a couple of days anyway. Atleast if its busy at Universal we have FOTL access to avoid waiting in line a lot.

We have always gone to WDW in the middle of May but are now considering a June trip due to other conflicts. How do the middle of May crowds compare with the first week of June crowds?
