Okay I dropped my skippers canteen dinnER on 12/7 because dd won't eat anything there and booked the Wave instead. Am I nuts? Will it be a huge pita to leave mk and come back? Was going to book plaza but it's walk up only now?

I dropped Illuminations. that was easy. Still available lol.
someone has to hold my hand to drop the dessert party but I think I am 98% there. I really want the pumpkin waffle and I really want to watch in the hub so what else is the damn point?
We get to mk around noon, it's a sleep in morning. Lunch at 145 bog and fp after that in fantasyland. I had skippers canteen but dropped it bc it's on the other side of the park.

We're still going to the dessert party. We don't have any other dessert party booked. It's our first one ever and our last night at WDW...still think it will be a fun way to end the vacay. I will wave to you all from my SEAT during the fireworks show!!!

How old are the kiddos??? The Wave sounds delish, but the Plaza might be easier for tired kiddos...much less expensive, too. I read up on the wait time. Except for one, all the posts are reporting a 15-30 minute wait. Not too bad. The fam can shop on main street while one parent waits in the lobby.

So many dessert parties from which to choose!!!! I am curious to know how the jibjab party goes...we just can't fit it into our HS day. We have 5:20 H&V and Fantasmic fp schedules---I know that's tight...I keep looking for an earlier ADR--and we'd have to cancel both for jibjab. DD says keep what you scheduled mom!!!!!
Wow! Those desserts are awesome! We'll just spend the whole time hunting down those stations!!
What exactly are the mvmcp Magic bands? Are they something extra we're supposed to pick up?
I also have some serious health issues...what I've discussed here is just the tip of the iceberg...so these scheduled breaks and seats are very important.

There are two things mentioned: event wristbands are what they put on you when you check in for the MVMCP, either at the front gate or at the various places throughout the park if you're already inside when the party begins.
The other bands are special MagicBands made just for the party and they're only available FOR PURCHASE during the party. These are optional and just extra fun merchandise available to party-goers. No different than a party-specific t-shirt or pin.

I really get it! It's worth it for that, I think! And yes, we will all be trying A BIT of all these lovely desserts
For me, it's mostly the parade viewing. And I know it is expensive. But, I am thinking of it as extra tickets to a show. Like how we buy concert or circus tickets, or Disney on ice. It's just how much it would cost for 6 of us to go see a show. A rather short one but still.
