***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

******* WARNING ********

We received our Tee Spring order. I ordered a women's large, hoping that they would be slightly loose. That was absolutely NOT the case. They were TEENY-TINY! They were so tight in fact, that I measured them up with other shirts I wear and they were a lot smaller.

So, lesson learned, either size up immensely, or order a men's t shirt.

I've already emailed them, so I'll keep everyone posted.

Thanks to everyone for advice on Tonys. Called DD tonight...she said Mom, just keep it...everything you planned will be fine! So mediocre Italian it is!
But, the Wave looks fantastic...will keep it on the short list for 2018 visit with DH!

Yep, we have an open door policy in our home. For this gathering, its a nice mix of singles, couples and families. Just a bit of everything!

The holidays can be such a painful time for some and for us to be able to provide a meal and friendship means so much. I'm hoping one day our girls will pick up on that and carry that with their own family.

I want to live near you! That sounds like an amazing gathering!

I have a return waiting on an Ebay seller...the XL Ladies/juniors advertised came and it was an XL girls! Will fit no one in this house. Live and Learn!

Mediocre italian must taste better sitting in a lady and the tramp themed restaurant in the MK than a strip mall in the suburbs somewhere, lol. So there is that. I have never been there myself so I can't comment first hand but @CynBeth stated that she goes there and likes it. People like it.

On my list of "you will get lots of negative comments on the DIS" restaraurants are:
H&V
Coral Reef
now with new menu LTT
'Ohana breakfast

I defend Coral Reef and 'Ohana because I love them both. Have not been to the new menu LTT. Have never been to H&V in my life. Sometimes you just need to do what feels right to you and ignore the nay sayers! having properly set expectations helps too

Ugh, that's a bummer!! I had read some reviews online about Teepublic shirts and how they ran small. I tried mine on and it fit, but is a little tight in the arms. I'm really glad I sized up on DH's shirt too...his regular size would have never fit him! Pretty sure I won't be drying those shirts.

Chef Mickey's too! People really talk badly about it, but we've luckily not had an issue. It's certainly not gourmet food, but we always have a good time. I say do what looks good to you...and remember that people are more likely to give a negative review instead of a positive one.

I am thinking about placing an order. I am plus size and will probably get the men's version. and size up. I wonder how the kids shirts fit. I also found one for bf's oldest son (stitch as dr. who, he LOVES both) for xmas... he is mostly in an adult small nowadays but I was going to get him a medium just so there is room to grow (For next summer too) but now I will def get the medium.

Yeah, same here. I just didn't see the value, especially with not the best fireworks view when the whole point is that it's a FIREWORKS dessert party, lol. I want to make sure I get the full effect!

You are so sweet, thank you! I would love to meet up with you guys, and anyone else who is there!

Not hard to do, lol! I went back and edited my post to clarify.

The first of my orders were delivered to my work yesterday, after I went home, so I walked into these goodies waiting for me! Not gonna lie, I'm kinda in love with the hot cocoa earrings

Yeah, I ordered the unisex shirt and am glad I did! I usually wear a 2x but ordered a 3XL *just* in case after reading reviews...and am SO glad I did!

Great .. 2 out of 4 for us! Actually, hubby and I liked CR a lot YEARS ago, and chose to take DD there this trip...she will love eating at the aquarium. Besides, she was def. a Full House and Boy Meets World kind of kid, so she's really looking forward to eating where the TV shows were taped.
H&V...totally her pick. Not a fan of buffets. Only doing two...Minnie Mouse dinner on arrival day and Cape May Minnie Mouse breakfast the morning we leave. She will love it. She doesn't even remember the character meals we did back when she was 3 and 8...only in pictures. So she is overdue!

yes someone calls it "chef yucky's" lol. cracks me up. Listen, it's a buffet. It is not gourmet. as long as you know that it's fine.
1) I am not cooking
2) I am not working
3) I am not cleaning up
4) I am at DISNEY
5) my child is dining with the characters

yes it is expensive for what it is. yes it is buffet food. blah blah blah. and sometimes restaurants have very off nights and I don't doubt some bad reviews are earned. but most disney restaurants are rated around a 4 on trip advisor which means they are decent enough most of the time.

Seriously, we don't choose Disney dining for the food...we want the kids to have a fun experience...even if my "kid" is 20! DH and I will explore more high-end options next trip...there's a time for everything.

I like the food in most places. it is not a 5 star big city experience but if it is tasty and served with a smile i'm good.

I'll be happy to share my two boxes of ziplock bags with you :rolleyes1

The juice is jungle juice. I think they sell a slush version in one of the QS in AK too ;)
Anyone know which quickset be this might be?
I love fruit slushes!! They had an orange juice slush as a drink option at cosmic rays last time I was in wdw, hope they still have it, loved it!
