***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

You guys are making me feel like I need to get busy planning my days out. In the past I have done Touring Plans, but on our last trip felt to tied to them. So I had decided this trip would be more go with the flow - just plan ADRS and FP and let the rest be spontaneous. I think I at least need to make some notes on snacks not to miss out on! Am I crazy for not doing the Touring plans? ugh!
That's our plan as well...just adrs and fps. Last time, we planned our trip in three days...no adrs, and only sdfp.....so improvement!

I've been following the whole target / gift card discussion and almost went online and bought a 100.00 gift card. However, I have the disney Visa and just got my rewards card in the mail with 260 on it, which I figure I'll use for tips and OOP dining. I think for souvenirs I will just pay with my disney visa as I think I get a discount on purchases over 50.00 with it anyway…hmm have to look into it some more.
We use airline credit card, so we are flying for free, but I'm on my own saving up for fun money. A good old fashioned cash jar...up to $400 saved already!

Anyone know how they will be keeping track of their itineraries? Will u be printing a hard copy or will you just be relying on your smartphones??

A combination of both. I always like to have paper copies of confirmations, directions, etc when going on any trip so while I was thinking about it last night printed from MDE where it says my itinerary. You can bring up each day and it shows all ADRs and FPs plus you can link shows and fireworks and make notes. I can always reprint or write on what I have if ROL info comes out. But, might glance at the phone while there instead of pulling the papers out of the folder that I am keeping in the backpack.

Not at all crazy. I'm definitely not a newbie to the parks so I do know my way around, and have a pretty good idea of how to make my way around the parks/know which rides get crazy, but I have never once ever used an actual touring plan. I do what you're doing. Get my fp's in place, get any dining reservations in place, and just use my own common sense/mood to fill in the rest on the fly. I think I'd feel way too constricted if I had a schedule with everything planned out from one thing to the next. Would take away a lot of the fun for me.

We are the same way as well.

Oh great idea! I'll probably do the same once I have my ADRs finalized :worship:

New to everything!! First trip to DWD with family and actually knowing a little bit about what's going on. I went 10 years ago with my dental office for a convention. Had no dinner reservations, ate at QS places - nothing special that I can remember. Basically I had no idea there was so much to see, do and plan for!!
My family and my sil and her fam are going 11/26 - 12/6 and staying at CBR
I've made ADRs and FP+
Planning on MVMCP

Slightly overwhelmed with all this planning!!

@justcin711 , If you decide to drop it I AM SO INTERESTED! Just let me know--it is just my son and I, so I know we could be done relatively quickly. (He already knows what he wants--the steak and the Grey Stuff)! Either way--thanks! I'll keep eyes open for the Chef Mickey--how many ppl?
I promise I will let you know if I drop it...Chef Mickey is for 3 people

We have the dinning plan and I'd like ideas of people's best use of the snack credit. Best use but also favorite food items. Is there a thread for this somewhere? Maybe there's a better spot for this question?

I've never had a touring plan other than ADRs. This time we'll have FP+ as well and I have notes, but they aren't set in stone. I guess you and I are crazy or maybe we aren't.

Zazzle is another amazing website! Once the shirts get here, I can start putting outfits together for myself and the girls! I think I may try the Gallon Ziplock method this time (they'll be sharing a suitcase).
I was thinking about doing the same because we're all sharing suitcases. I'm dividing it by days instead of by person since we have a triple split stay. Hmm... I might try this soon especially since I can pack some summer t shirts away already (cold now)

Check out pg 516, post #10306 of this thread for a great link to food/snack ideas at Disney. If I recall correctly, some of the things listed are snack credits and others are specific table service foods/desserts (i.e. not a snack credit and you'd need a reservation to get them).
